Apple CarPlay Problem - can't hear Siri while I am using Apple Maps

For the Apple IPhone users- after the last two updates I can not hear Siri while I am using Apple Maps. I’ve gone through a ton of Apple settings and Uconnect settings in the truck. Anyone have a solution to get it where I can hear Siri?

Yes. You gave to adjust the volume while Siri is speaking.

Definitely give this a try… get a hand on that volume control… it’s happened a few time to me.

I found the answer today!! And yes it was by total accident!! Touch the screen (when you have the map on the screen). On the right side it has option buttons for a couple different items. One is volume- mine was switched off somehow after an update.

I was getting ready to give you the answer when I saw you figured it out. Same thing happened to me after an update and I stumbled upon the volume control in the upper right screen just like you did.

Same thing happened to me, the only thing that was unclear from reading this was whether or not the volume setting was on the phone or the UConnect CarPlay map screen itself, and it was easy enough to figure out it was the latter of the two...

One of the screen sound options is off, another is for alerts only and the last is for on.
