We need some “on-road” Jeep mods. Let me explain:

For many of us it’s frankly an “aspirational” purchase. I started out shopping for a truck, not another Jeep, and of course I’m thrilled to have both in one package. Sure, I do some sand, some snow, but I only get really off-road a few times a year. Most of my driving hours are fighting traffic.

What I really need is an Urban Assault Vehicle. Lifted, Armored, spiked, able to squirt noxious fluids at surrounding vehicles and deserving pedestrians (rotting whale oil would be good). A directional antenna to jam cell phones or even better broadcast “driving suggestions” through a neighboring vehicles radio. Super heavy duty air filtration, reasonable bullet resistance, active, pain inflicting, anti- theft devices. Some James Bond auto weaponry. Color changing paint (what happened to that anyway?). Electronic jamming, cloaking, the works. A push-button inflatable bed cap and some other body parts to deter subsequent identification. I want 37” run-flat tires, steel spikes that extend 2 feet in every direction when I lock it in a parking lot.

What else would the Gladiator UAV need? ?

My kid says we need ejection seats and parachutes in case we go off a cliff, and push-button activated snow spikes for bad weather, ala Speed Racer.

I think we could use Speed Racer jump jacks to get over a bad intersection.

I was wondering when one of you Arizonans would post 100+ on here. In NM we (my wife) complain when it’s 95.

Utility aside I love the contrast the most - especially the fenders. It's just a very Jeep thing to me growing up loving the YJ and TJ.
I love the contrast too as you can see.

I've seen them roll, every time it was due to driver error, and I know that the ride quailty is garbage. I have to slow down a lot when I wheel with my 2 door buddy because he's bouncing around while i'm cruising like a Cadillac in my JT

I guess seeing them make obstacles look easy that my JT would struggle in, as well as the mystique of being the "original" Jeep make me like them, but at the end of the day it's just a pipe dream because of the cargo space. Even taking 1 kid or 1 dog would kill my space for wheeling
Then there’s the break over angle…

Unpopular opinions:

Max Tow isn't special. Jeep doesn't even think it's worthy of its own badge or decal.

Manual transmissions are antiquated. Move them to the automotive scrap heap of history.

Sting Gray is boring and over done. Retire it and replace it with something more interesting.
Depends what you do with your Max. I've seen some guys tow/haul some stuff with their Max that the extra tow rating or payload would be warranted. If I didn't have Max payload, I would have made my son use his Ram to do this.....
