I got quality plastic rivets from the auto body suppy co., ones that came with the rivet gun were brittle and broke easily. Get extra; I ran through some brush and tore a few rivets out. Easy enough to put new rivets in when I got home.

I think they're worth it. A lot fewer mud bombs landing on my hood. Running 12.5 x 35" tires.
