Maybe its me - but growing up hard tops wasn't even really a thing on Jeeps - most jeeps had soft tops, and fabric doors/windows - it wasn't until the later TJ years you started seeing hardtops become a thing... anyone remmember this ? Also XJ's and ZJ's were looked down upon by the old timers - but MAN did they put in work. I still highly respect the old XJ's and ZJ's (WJ's too - but those didn't come till later).
Fabric windows?

Yup. Got the same feeling years ago on my first Dyna when around the Bagger crowd. That is until I provoked my Screamin' Eagle II set up with the lighter weight. All I could see was triple headlights in my mirrors. What fun.
The Dyna guys didn't give me much grief - it was usually the rich execs wanting to play bad boy on baggers... got their first harley (a bagger) and think they are badasses.

That no matter where you go there's always a social media fuck head ruining it for everyone else. Go find your own experiences.
Also this world isn't going to clean itself up. Pick up your trash. If it means picking up someone else's too. Be a good person. Just do it.
I agree 100% your the man

Jeeps are like a cult 1) special wave 2) once you own one, other jeep owners want to talk to you 3) once you have your first Jeep, you're always looking to buy another

I have officially ingested the Kool Aid and now buying another....... So I'll have the JLUR and now a JT Mojave.......I even recently bought a Jeep hoodie.......I'm in to deep now

Going down the rabbit hole, and there is no bottom to it. There is no 12 step program for recovery either. You are not alone.

How about, folks should learn to drive their stock Jeeps before spending thousands on “off road” mods? The best thing I ever did for myself was learn to wheel with my stock JK.

Lots of people online who insist that a lift, 35” MTs and lockers are necessary to do anything…

Yes... although I did in stall some of those little skid plates on the low-hanging control arm and shock brackets.
Weld on or bolt on? Would love to see them. I abused the control arm brackets on my last Jeep.
