How much rake do you have? I have a SmartCap but with the stock plastic front bumper. I'm hoping I would still have some rake left with the AEV lift. TIA. Trying to get as much info before I make the purchase.
I didn’t do detailed before/after measurements but I have about 1” of rake, maybe slightly less.

I had about 2" of rake with the AEV dualsport lift. I added a 3/4 spacer in the front. Once i put a rack and my tent back on it it should sit almost level.

Renewing this thread. Anyone have any complaints with either the Mopar or AEV Dualsport? How are they holding up with mild/moderate off-road and daily driving?

Still looking at the AEV dual sport lift myself. I don't really want to get bigger tires. Anyone have pics with 33s on a Sport S Ecodiesel and AEV lift?

I'll say this. Every kit and every manufacturer has it's issues. They're designed by humans which aren't perfect. Anybody that tells you otherwise is lying.

Having said that, I have the Mopar lift with 3/4" spacer up front. I've had the Mopar lift on for over 125,000 miles now. Had it put on around 5,000 miles and now have over 130,000 miles. And if you've ever seen my YouTube channel, I do it all. Tow, offroading, hauling! And the only thing that I've added is the track bar which I just installed a couple months ago.

Agree, each lift has pros and cons. I went with the Clayton lift over the Mopar and AEV. Seemed like a better deal getting trackbars and all. Happy so far, but I’m only a week in.

Did you have any luck finding anything? I’m looking to do the same. Sport diesel with 33s. My tires just have way too much life left to replace them but I’m tired of waiting for the lift.

I’d go AEV. Their geometry correction brackets change the handling characteristics in a good way!

If you go mopar, I’d add AEV’s brackets.
what would be the point of this. The brackets and the control arms both are made to give the correct caster without alignment. Doing both seems like it would mess up caster quite a bit…. ?

Yeah this right here - you're basically correcting twice. There is benefit of lowering the LCA frame-side mount but I would absolutely not mix and match unless you plan on going with adjustable arms.

I've got 9000 miles on my MOPAR lift with teraflex spacers up front to take away the rake. Running KO2 37's. No complaints about the suspension. Took it offroad a couple weeks back and it was the only JT that could do some of the obstacles with no spotter physically helping (rocking, pushing, etc)

The Mopar lift will do some good. But I'll have a camper on the back almost permanently. AEV will support it in the long run far better form what I've heard.
I also have the Helwig sway bar and will be going with the Apex disconnects.

Is there a concern as far as safety/functionality goes with the AEV dual sport lift on 33s? Is the only issue less clearance and looking like tiny tires? The goal would to be eventually put 35s or 37s on but can I do the lift with 33s until then without problems?
