I have a set of the 6-inch PRO6 Gravity LEDs (Driving) mounted on my OEM steel bumper. They work great. I am considering adding a set of pillar lights. Looking for any experience folks may have with the Flex Era 3 lights or recommendations on using another set of the PRO6 Gravity, but Spots or Wide (vs Driving).

What did you end up going with? I put my Slimlights on the pillar but don’t like them there so going back on the bumper. I’m torn between the fe3 and fe4. Both in spot for the pillar.

I went with the FlexEra 4 - these lights are awesome! They are super bright!

Thanks for sharing those pics! Thats basically the same setup I'm planning to go with except I have slimlights instead of the gravity KCs.

I was planning on the FE4 in spot, I see yours are the combo beam. Any issues with glare on the hood or other buyer remorse not getting the spots? What beam are your G6s? The slimlights say they're a spot beam but they have a nice spread to them which I why I was planning on the spot beam for the fe4

I have the flex era 4’s on my bumper and they’re fantastic. So I’m sure the fe3 is great as well. I have the combo beam, but spot sounds like the right call on the pillar. I love that you can swap the lenses later if you change your mind, or if you get a rock strike. I have amber lens covers on mine for road snow driving, so that protects them from rocks.

For my KC Hilite Gravity Pro6 lights mounted on my front bumper, I went with the "Driving" Beam Pattern. I like it for driving in fog.

I cannot say enough positive things about the FE4 with the Combo lens. Those lights are AWESOME! I cannot believe how much they light up the area in front of me. I'll take a pic next time I remember to try to illustrate the difference in these lights.

If I had to pick one - I would pic the FlexEra4 Combo. It is a really impressive light. I do not recall having any issue with the reflectivity off the hood. I am using the KC mounts for the FE4's.

I should also mention that I have Amber covers for both the PRO6 and FE4 lights. That is a really nice option.

I have a set of KC hilites that are so bright I can't use them on the road without getting flashed, and they're pointed down. Of course, I get the odd flash from running the OEM LEDs without them, but will just say, they are bright.

How do you like the FE4 vs the Pro6? I was going to go with your setup but with 4 FE4's. But, am interested in the Pro6 driving for the bumper instead......Thoughts? :)

I’ve used my two flex era 4’s on night runs in Moab, and don’t see a need for more light out front. I’ll likely add some rock lights someday, but these things are REALLY BRIGHT.

I have the Era 3's on my pillars and I really like them. I personally thought the 4's or 6's looked a little big for my purposes. The Era 3's emit a huge amount of light, I really like them.

I also have the KC slim LED pods underneath my winch as well. Those things are bright for how small they are.

Any time. I’m sure that would be amazing. I’m in the minority in that I don’t want anything on the a pillars. But I’ve seen pictures of the 3’s there and they look nice.

I have the pro6 driving on the bumper as well. They're great for driving as expected. I have mine wired to an aux switch and love running them at night as standard headlights (angled appropriately) as they just put out so much more light than the OEM LED's. For trail use they work great too, but you have to re-angle them to put light where you want since they're somewhere between a spot and a wide.

These are old pictures before the lift, but the light mounting hasn’t changed.
