So I was about to run JScan to fix my tire size after putting on 35s. So I look under the dash to install the hardware and violá! I find this little guy under there.
Jeep Gladiator How do I know what Tazer this is? And can I use it? E0D962ED-CC11-45EA-8C55-012AD31DD7A2

I’ve had this truck since mile 11, and over 2.5 years. I have no idea how this got there. But I would like to use it since I have it now. Can I use it since it’s on there? Even tho I wasn’t the one to install it?

I dont see why you couldnt use it. Go to their website and look up the instructions/features and see what is available on your screen. I don't know if there is a physical difference between the Tazer Mini and Tazer lite.

Unless some weirdo found your truck unlocked and plugged in their Tazer that was married to another truck.

You'll find out soon enough when you try to use it.

download the tazer software, plug the tazer in using mini-usb and it will tell you the software version on the unit

turns out I have a JL mini and it seems to work just fine. Given the last update was in August, I'm thinking it was put on by the shop that had to replace my front axle after a crash. Maybe they had to use it to reconfigure something? Guess I can return my other stuff I was going to use with Jscan, and glad I didn't purchase the Jscan yet either. Just wish it had a better interface than using the steering wheel buttons.

Glad you were able to figure it out. Make sure to pay attention to the instructions on making adjustments. I went to fast the first time and my changes didn't take until I was methodical about following the steps.

Lol I bet the shop intended to pull that out after configuring things, and forgot. Lucky you

+1 on read the directions carefully and go slow. It's not the most user-friendly to set up, but it's pretty simple once it's configured
