Has anyone had these issues with their eco diesel? I only have 2800 miles on my Jeep. I had the P2138 (electronic throttle sensitivity) code come up a few days ago. I cycled the motor on/off a few times and it went away. It came back on yesterday with the P0191(fuel rail management system) and won't go away. It's in limp mode and even with my iDash I can't clear the codes. I had to remove the derringer and pedal monster yesterday so I can get it into the dealership but I have some suspicions that the issue is related to the banks products and I'm hesitant to put them back in. Anyone run into these issues with or without the banks?

Sounds similar to issues I've had with piggybacks on other vehicles in the past.

Have you contacted banks support with logs and pics of the errors? I'd start there but maybe jeep added in some monitoring to watch for these types of devices.

Someone else had a problem with the Derringer. They contacted Banks, and I believe Banks sent them a new Derringer. It was something about the early Deringers. There is a thread somewhere in here.

I have the Banks iDash, Pedal Monster and Derringer. No issues so far.

I contacted Banks yesterday. They called me back today and we were able to clear the codes. I've been driving around with no issues. I asked for a refund which they gave me for the derringer and pedal monster but not the iDash. I had it everything professionally installed and I'm not going to pay to have the iDash removed. It's not worth having issues for the extra power and pulling out the derringer while it was snowing was less than enjoyable.

Glad you were able to get it resolved. I see you are new here, pull up a chair and stay a while :).

Thanks! I've been lurking for awhile but now that my build is "finished" I'll try to be more active.

Just had P0191 show up but now it’s gone. Have the Derringer and PM. This is the second time. Jeep is running fine. Thoughts? I’ve had it on a year and no issues before this week.

I removed the derringer and pedal monster and have had 0 issues since. I believe it is related to one or both of the banks products.

I've had misfire codes running banks throttle monster in sport mode, but don't in City mode.

I'm not a fan of remapping the throttle maps unilaterally when the PCM does it according to driving conditions. Yes, there is a bit of turbo lag, but it's a byproduct of any forced induction engine setup.

My jeep acted up out of the blue the other day throwing codes and lights. I forgot I had my mx OBD reader plugged in from earlier that day. Unplugged it and restarted and all was well. Had other vehicles freak out with anything plugged into the OBD port as well. These newer vehicles are finicky.

I’ve been thinking that might be the case - when I put the OBD2 scanner on (and had to unplug the banks) it cleared the light. Sucks to think about a grand worth of parts might have to go in the trash.

Have you reached out to banks about this problem?
