The AWE does sound good on video clips. I was hoping they would have a better Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale prices.
Northridge did have 15% off on AWE this weekend. I have the dual tread version and it’s super high quality. It has no drone but it is pretty loud under acceleration. Sounds great at idle/start up. I’ve been happy with it but everyone has different tastes and expectations when it comes to exhausts.

If you’re used to V8 exhausts the tone is definitely a bit different.

I am leaning towards the AWE tread single. 304 stainless and the tread looks sharp with the black tip. I have a Willys, it is Silver with blacked out trim and badges. I think it would look sharp.

I’m biased but from a looks perspective I don’t think you can beat the looks of AWE.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the AWE Tread single exhaust. I actually got it from the AWE website. Merry Christmas to me. Thanks for the input. The looks, 304 stainless and your confirmation of no drone is what tipped the scale.

I have a ‘22 6mt. I ended up doing what many others have done. I tried a Flowmaster, AFE, and Magnaflow. All of them had their own sound AND the drone. I also went the CAI route and put a K&N on….it was LOUD and killed my mpg’s.

In a last attempt to go the modified exhaust route, I had a local exhaust shop take out the suitcase muffler and put a straight pipe in its place. This move was perfect for me. You hear it when you want, has a nice grumble to it when letting the gear wind down, didn’t kill any power/fuel mileage, and most importantly…NO DRONE!

For those interested, I can take a few videos and attemp to put them on here (not totally tech savvy)or I can send them to your phone. Just let me know.

There are not enough videos floating around of what this option truly sounds like after complete. Happy to help if I can!

My AEV snorkel with the optional Sy-Klone pre-filter sounds AMAZING. Plus, I get the benefit of clean, cool air. MPGs definitely affected by me stomping on the gas to hear that roar.

No feedback on the systems you mention but I love my Borla Climber S Type. It dumps behind the axle and tucks up mostly out of harms way. Sounds good - not too loud but let’s me shift the manual trans by ear.
+1 for the Borla S Type Climber, have the same exhaust. Sounds great.

I'd love to see and hear some videos on the setup.

I have the AWE Trail edition and recommend it. I really like it.
How loud it the AWE exhaust? I ordered the AWE Tread single but I have never heard it in person. I have watched just about every YouTube video on it but I am sure it sounds different in person. 1 to 10 with 10 being loud AF, what would you rank the loudness? At start up, idle, accelerating and cruising on the highway?

If you want to go a bit outside the box I have been running Spintech mufflers for four years with a turndown before the axle. They sound awesome with no tinniness and minimal/ no drone.
