Hello bought a used Gladiator with your 2.5" Premium Lift Kit with Falcon 3.0 shocks It had 35s on it but I put 38s. I am not having any issues what so ever but I want just a little more lift. Not wanting to change lifts, what would you recommend I use?

Taller/stiffer springs would be one way to go about it, or you can add a small 1 inch spacer on top of your existing springs if you don't want to change the ride quality.

Yep, either reach out to the manufacturer of the lift and ask for stiffer springs or just throw a level on it. Sounds like you just copied and pasted your email to the manufacturer to this post, so not sure who “your” is as I don’t personally make lift kits. ?

Ah, yeah I would honestly just go with some leveling spacers. It’ll be about the same level of work, but cheaper. This is probably the route I’d go unless you are planning to carry extra weight that calls for a stiffer spring rate, otherwise you’d also get a steeper ride.

I’m curious, with the 38 inch tire, did you end up adjusting your bump stops for the off road stuff?

If the JT forums made their own lift kits, what would it be like?

Personally I would imagine that it would be a no drill lift long arm kit that you can install on your own in 23 minuites with a hammer, can opener, and some bubble gum. It would have the same ride quality as baja racer while costing about 37 dollars and half a 6 pack.

I was asking them to see if there was a maker that they would recommend or does i really matter.

It would be delivered in an envelope, inside a single sheet of 8.5x11 written in comic sans font, size 13, a line of text:

“We could not decide which was best because everyone on the internet is right and knows more than you about everything. Sell your JT and screw this community.”

Really it’s mostly just a hockey puck looking thing that goes above the spring. I run a terra flex 1.5 inch level on the front of my JT to level out the look with the Mopar lift. Most folks also seem to like that kit, but it doesn’t include anything for the rear, a lot of people I’ve seen it will pair with a day star rear spacer kit.

If you have the full Clayton lift you can simply get the 3.5” springs and a few other parts needed for that height of lift. (Brake line extensions and I would recommend either geometry correction or new front drive shaft)

The Clayton lifts all use the same control arms and track bars (outside of their off-road pro using Johnny joints) which are adjustable. You should be able to add the taller springs and adjust the track bars and control arms accordingly. The measurements are all on Clayton’s website as well.

Oh and you may need shock extensions or new shocks as they will not have the correct travel for the 3.5” lift springs.

Hey Kenny, you can always upgrade to the 3.5" springs! You would also need new shocks, unfortunately, or a set of shock extensions for the time being.
