I don't know where you're looking, but the one I'm talking about is new.
I looked at all new Jeeps on their website, didn’t see it.

With thanks to all trying and helping, the look is over and now I'm actually envious of my wife's Jeep..........

Awesome! I'm jealous of her too. That is an excellent machine in a sweet sweet color.

Btw, for max power drive it in 4A. In 2h it will limit torque a bit to keep traction, but in 4a it goes full beans. If you really want to race it throw it in manual to light the gas engine ahead of time and go for it.

I LOVE the color, and it's a crazy nice ride, and plenty of zip. Quiet- it was weird as I watched as she backed it into the garage (it's longer than the Grand Cherokee by a bit - at least longer wheel base).
If I didn't have the Gladiator and didn't need a truck............
I was worried she might not like the 4xe blue accents or something - no, she really likes that part, too. It will be getting the steps like the Sahara has because it's a Rubicon and sits high, and she's not tall.........
She asked about the bumpers as she knew I talked about steel bumpers and all - so I said, well, I cold put my steel bumper on the front of hers and put an aluminum bumper on the front of mine. Not really likely to happen, but it's an option. She wanted the bumpers to be purple, too.
Man, I love that color.

I talked to two local people who own the 4xe Wranglers today and that helped to make up our minds.

Congratulations to you both! Though I’m sort of bummed our 392 swap won’t happen now. :CWL:

Did you get all the bells and whistles or did you have to compromise on some of the wish list?

It's missing the advance safety group. I and the sales guy, Scott, explained exactly what that was. She decided that although ACC was nice, she didn't use it much in her vehicle - I did in mine. The auto high beam - she said she doesn't drive that many miles or hours after dark, she'd use the old way. And she'd lived for years without the FCW and automatic braking.
This one had the body color roof and fender flares, the interior colors were perfect.
We're having the Sahara type side steps (running boards) added because she did have to really pull herself up with a bit of a hop to get in and getting out was worse. (plus those protect the hinges and such from dings and dirt)
So lacking the "steps" and the advance safety group but since all of her other things were met, she's fine with it. She has commented about not liking pulling back for high beam and pushing forward for low beams.
Driving back in the dark she had trouble with that because Wrangler and Gladiator are very different in that way.

Does the wrangler not have the same stalk as the JT for hi/lo beam? Mine goes both ways for lo, but only forward for hi. And I can flash hi by pulling back. Which can be an advantage - I always pull back for lo, so if I forget whether I dimmed the lights worse case is I flash someone inadvertently but don’t give them the full hi beams.

Yes. Identical in that way and in fact most ways as far as controls and interior as far as front half.

Good job! Happy wife, happy life.
What made her even more happy was when I showed her the Iowa registration:
Make - Jeep
Color - Purple

She said "YES!"
