jumped it with my daughters car and had the battery tested at an Autozome.
Please don't rely on parts store tests. They can't possible test a battery that's not charged up to at least 12.4 volts or so. Fully charged is best. And most of those people don't know how to properly test or even how it works.

Even a dealer can't test a battery without charging it first if you jumped it dead and drive it in.
It just can't be done.

I am talking about the INFORMATION CENTER in the center of the drivers dash. Between the tach. and speedometer. You know fuel gauge, temp gauge, tire pressure, and all that other stuff. My radio works fine.
Oh, the 7" cluster display.
The information center is generally regarded as the radio because in prior Jeeps, the information center was in the center of the Jeep - often up high.
That's DIFFERENT!

Yes, many icons/apps disappear, but come back in a day or so. You would be lucky to get a remanufactured radio. I got a used one that was still registered to the previous owner. That took a whole day to straighten out and it took another day for xm, navigation off road pages among other things to appear on the screen.

My info center nor my radio ever gave my problems on my 66 Impala.
For years, the display in front of your face is the cluster. Jeep's had an information center that was in the middle.
So many of us older Jeep mechanics regard the information center as meaning radio because today, it's not a radio - it's smarter than the cluster.

That thing in front of your face while driving is the cluster.
That's where the confusion is coming in.

The base Sport with nothing fancy has the small black and white cluster.

Check this out. This solves all my problems and leaves the dealer out. CaRobotor
Not sure how that would solve the problem if your current cluster isn't getting power or info. This is just a $2,000 aesthetic upgrade. You very well might put that in and it not work either. Seems silly to throw expensive parts at something if you don't know the root cause of the problem. Especially if your problem is covered by warranty.

Let Jeep foot the bill for throwing parts at it. If you like the aesthetics and want to change it out after Jeep fixes the issue, then do it, but after everything is in proper working order. But if you do it yourself instead, without making sure the issue is fixed first, there goes the warranty process.

Yes, if the root is a wiring or communication issue - nothing you put there would work.

the physical cluster may be fine.

I wonder what JSCAN would reveal? There's a way to grab info from the cluster.
I also wonder - since so many other things have fuses - if there's one for the cluster and what it might be called other than "cluster" in the electrical map.

I must not have put this info in this post. The Jeep was at the dealer on October 18, 2022. They said the problem was that I need a new cluster. I have been waiting since then for a part. I really can't use the Jeep because there is no fuel gauge. I drive around with a 5 gallon can of gas in the bed just in case but usually stop every other day to fill up. I have avoided going on a couple of long trips over the holidays with the Jeep because who wants to run out of gas?

I don't want to preform a 2K upgrade like this but I need to get it fixed. Jeep cares doesn't care. They and the dealer just keep giving me empty promises on part arrival dates. The latest is January 30, 2023. How long should I wait for the dealer?
