Hey all, Curious if any of you have an auxiliary battery delete & found your rear 115v & USBs on the back of the center console no longer work? Mine used to, but I've deleted my auxiliary battery & left it's negative cable disconnected & zip-tied back under the hood. When I try to charge anything via rear USB nothing works, though they do light up, which is strange. When I plug a circuit tester into the 115 outlet, I get a "no ground" error. Do I need to/can I safely reconnect my aux negative wire to my single battery post to solve this? Does this outlet & the rear USBs rely on the aux battery rather than the main? Any other ideas? I've done some internet research & found a "hit the reset button on your inverter" post. My inverter does not have a reset button & it's under the steering column rather than the passenger seat as that post mentioned(wasted a lot of time w/ that). Any help here would be greatly appreciated, want to keep my GMRS charging when out wheelin'! Thank you

I find no connection of the Aux Battery to the inverters to include the grounds. All of it comes off the main battery feed. That seems to be a stand alone problem.

Thank you all for your input, especially @Hootbro for the excellent diagrams. Turns out the plug does power a lamp, & the USB A to USB C for some reason powers my GMRS, My GMRS just won't for god knows what Chinese-manufacturing reason won't accept power from a USB C to USB C cable, even when plugged into known operable wall plugs & cables, only USB A. Thought for sure it was either a Jeep thing, or some dumb thing I'd done to my Jeep. Glad it's sorted without causing any unnecessary gremlins. New cable & I'll be ready to wheel uninterrupted :)
