And don’t throw away the paperwork either! I found out the hard way as I called Geico today. I was wondering if I had an accident, would all my mods be covered. They sent me a multi page form that wanted me to list every modification with the cost. No problem as I kept a pretty good spreadsheet. But then it said to keep all receipts! Damn! I am going to go on a mad scavenger hurt and will most likely have to ask some vendors for copies.

Meh then it looks like the stubby version which I didn't like. Plus I weld about as well as a 1 year old colors, it happens, it works and it's fun but um...it ain't pretty. LMAO.

I like a few of them, but the Rugged Ridge HD stubby is meh. I'll end up getting the Rough Country Tubular winch bumper, to match my Rear bumper. More of a midwidth though.

I still have my stock sport springs and shocks, and a pair of banged up RC side steps, halogen fogs, rear tails, and side markers. FREE to any takers!

I would of found a reparable welding shop and had them modify and cut off the wings and made a stubby front bumper and had them weld on end caps/plates to the aftermarket bumper.

You guys actually get rid of your spare parts? Where can I learn this sort of power, my lawn care shed has more Jeep parts than lawn items at this point!

I do the same thing, have a garage full of Mustang parts and have started accumulating Jeep parts now.

How much of a lift does it require to run a 35? When I had my JT on order a local shop quoted me $250 to install a front spacer lift all included. You don't think you could have gone that route vs getting rid of your aftermarket bumper? If you want a winch in the future guess what....

I would love this problem, my garage is just full of half baked laundry, cardboard boxes "I should know are my job" and furniture purchased at a discount that "needs to be posted so it can be sold for a profit".

I really like this bumper too, but with the JTRD, I think the winch location is too high for cooling inefficiencies. FML.

Looks like it's just a tall winch... the spool is only at the bottom of the grill.

One could probably do a remote install kit on the controller box? ?

The spacer would have worked for onroad, but even the Mopar 2" ( more like 3.5 on a Sport) would have problems with turning under articulation I found out.

That’s a silly design.

I finally tossed most of my stock stuff. I took what I could off my rubi, moved it over to the wife's 4xe (stiffer front springs to counteract the bumper/winch), gave away stuff people wanted, and then tossed the rest.

I do still have rubi shocks, and rubic rims if anyone is interested!

I wouldn’t worry to much with that bumper and cooling issues. I run a 8274 and haven’t had a single cooling issue on any of the Jeeps I’ve owned
This was roughly 7000lbs
