I decided when I paid off my rig, I was going to add a snorkel. Got the title in the mail this week and my project was on track for Saturday. I installed one on my JK and cut into the sheet metal so I wasn’t worried about the fab work. The first part of the install wasn’t that bad. Spent a little over an hour this morning doing the airbox mods. Started just before six this evening on the rest of it and dang I cut the opening too big in the hood. ? No time or reason to get upset and pissed. It is what it is so I pivoted to plan B. Grabbed some scrap aluminum and mocked up a piece and riveted it on. I kind of like the look as is but might paint it black.
A few tweaks tomorrow to clean up the grease pencil marks and finish the inside of the hood and the rubber seal around it and then I’ll be calling it done!!
