What is "premium front bumper with gloss black accents" ?

In looking at some Gladiators online, viewing their window stickers, under the Optional Equipment heading, I sometimes see the line "premium front bumper with gloss black accents". Is this a steel bumper that would be able to have a winch attached to it or is it some sort of plastic bumper? Just not sure what the term actually menas.

Depending on the trim, the High Altitude has a gloss black matching bumper. Given that it notes "accents," it's more than likely just as @LouisvEarlleJT showed.

I can't rationalize a black HA. Whats the point of having painted bumpers if they're just painted the color of the plastic bumpers everyone else gets?

Personally i prefer the least amount of painted bits possible, but if one were to want stuff painted it might as well stand out.

You can order those trim pieces from MOPAR or any of the online parts dealers if you really want the black-out look.

Less than $30 each when I ordered them year from BAM.

I happen to be one of those people, but went with powder coat instead of paint.
