I think they would look awesome on a Gobi Rubicon with one caveat. My buddy has a red JL Rubicon and bought nice wheels with a red anodized rash guards. Over time, the sun has faded them to pink and now they don’t look very appealing. Not sure how the red metal will hold up but it will look sweet when they are new!

I personally don't think those would look good on a Gobi. Nothing against the wheels I was actually going to get those in black until my new Black Rhinos released. But not sure about that color.

I guess it might bring out some of the Rubicon accents at least

Good point :)
I can't find reviews or experience, worst case I guess I would raptor coat them, maybe in gobi, but the red pops and is kinda rubiconny XD

it is a bit extreme, im trying to not just buy the bawarrion as thats what everyone has, but we will see

the black rhinos look very cool (sadly seems like not allowed in germany, no paperwork atleast)

Very good point now that I think of it I've seen a few rigs with the all red Fuel Zephyrs that have faded to pink. Like bad. Doesn't look good at all considering that's a very attractive wheel. Not sure if these would be any different in that aspect

i'm obviously biased, but i think black and tan is a classic color combo. I know many people are over the black wheel trend, but i think gobi really pulls it off quite nicely, especially when you've got black fenders and roof like you and I do

I was looking at red wheels but they will all fade over time. So I went with machine finish Methods.

Not a fan of red, I think it will fade away and age badly like all the grey floors and cabinets in people’s houses atm. If it’s yours thing though, why not? It’s your Jeep not anyone else’s.

You asked for opinions, so here’s mine. Those are terribly ugly wheels. Wouldn’t matter what color Jeep they are on.

Two tone wheels never look good.

My useless $.02. And you know what they say about opinions.
I get that, and yes I want everyones opinion :)

Let’s try again!
How very cool and very tempting, I kinda like it, but...

If I may did you photoshop it or is that a website?

yours thing
Nah it is not really my thing, I want to eventually build a Gobi with a sorta ocean turquoise raptor and have a mid grey also raptor to bind it together... but that would have to be well done and crazy well thought out to look good,... and right now not the time or cash to let someone good do it.

I totally agree with you, and I reckon that is a safe bet. Tbh I just also want something a bit different, but will see, as like you said that makes the most sense.
I do not want to end up looking like a military truck however, seen that too often.
machine finish Method
That is really cool. Not necessarily me, but very cool.

I do hear all the concerns about fading and taking that very serious. That would truely suck and look disgusting.

There are a few other options, two are from TIBUS which are really cool but 1k per wheel, is too rich for me right now.

I really want to get something that looks cool, performs even better and will last a while and bring the smiles.

Not a fan of the Red with Gobi. Also they will definitely fade and I wouldn't Raptor coat them because that would probably be a nightmare to balance. You could always powder coat them...

Powder for the rims for sure,
raptor on the fenders and sliders.
Never seen a plastic that scratches so easily like on our fenders :)
