I went with the TeraFlex Nomads with the built in air down valves. I have them in Titanium Gray but the black ones would look awesome with the Gobi!

You make me a sad Panda.

Those are sick. Love em.

Now I have to check for a way to legalize them here in Germany though :( I doubt I will be able to.
Price here is about €673,00, can buy and send them to Germany but no clue if they can be legalized for the road. Wrote to the importer.

I do not want to end up looking like a military truck however, seen that too often.
I will concede my truck has a military truck aesthetic, between the paint color and the black steel wheels. Definitely gives 'Desert Storm' vibes as one of my coworkers had commented to me. And while that was not originally my goal, i don't necessarily hate the connotation either.

It does make my truck a little less unique than some other colors and color combinations, that's hard to deny, but the beauty of gobi being a limited edition color means I rarely see others like mine in person. Sure they're a dime a dozen on enthusiast forums where limited edition colors are more common, but I've only ever seen two other gobi gladiators in person on the road in almost a year and those were both bone stock. So the feeling of showing up to a party wearing the same dress as someone else doens't really come into play outside the onlines.

Don't get me wrong. I love me a good military vehicle. If it was up to me freedom panels off and turret on, but EU and neighbors get nervous when crossing borders with some actually turning you away if you have camo or other military like identifiers.

Here I have yet to meet a Rubi JT as ours is imported and not sold here, and Gobi was not an option on EU Diesels.
It is not so much dancing in anothers dress that worries me, as me trying to figure out what looks great and also looks like us, and being practical while unique ish

I have heard of a company locally that ceramic coats almost everything. They could I guess do something.
That kinda what you mean?

Here's a not too good photo of my red/possibly pink in the future wheels. They are Method 305s. I love method wheels and have their bronze "roost" wheel on my JK. That said I am curious to see how well the red holds up. The bronze on the roost seems very durable.

Beautimus Truck.
That rear bumper, you thought we wouldn't notice but we did, is a pretty nifty idea :)

Thank ya! It’s the “body armor” brand with the matching side steps + bed protector. I also added rigid LED cubes and wired them to come on with the reverse lights.

If they didn't fade to pink I would think about red.
