Took the plunge to pair with my Smittybilt air compressor. It all fits in the bag that the compressor came in.

I ran across these when looking for compressors. Looks like the same product is sold under a new brand with closed chucks now.

How is the system holding up?

I wasn't planning on a 4 tire inflation system, but my shopping research is never without a hundred tangents and considerations. Now I have to see if I may want one, or if there a cons I need to consider. Such as, should all 4 tires always be exactly the same? And does this achieve that well enough, or would front/rear weight differences make the pressure different?

In my current truck, the front and rear have different PSI recommendations. And since I don't have my Jeep yet, I don't know if a chalk test would recommend similar.

Certainly not a cheap, but well built IMO. I've been using it now for a couple of months, and am super impressed. Also using their high powered compressor and I'm always done airing up well before the guys I'm wheeling with LOL

Well worth the $$ IMO. But I think any 4 tire system is a great improvement over the one at a time old fashioned way. And yeah, the tires all equalize out nicely. Another benefit.

It is holding up well. To be honest, better than I expected. My only complaint is/was the air line gets tangled easily since the coils are so tight. I would get frustrated untangling before I could airing up. I remedied this by replacing the tight coiled airline with better air hose. I made a few other changes for the airline routing to make set-up easier by using a couple extra fittings. All the original fittings are holding up fine. I am guessing I have used the setup 20 times for reference.

Seems to be a bit of a "Ship of Theseus" situation here. You replaced the chucks when you first bought it, now replaced the hoses, and altered the routing. What's left of the original, just the fittings (minus the chucks)?

I like the idea of coiled lines to bounce back to short, but with multiple lines I guess there could be a tangle issue. Probably not a problem on a single line.

I'm still not sure about a 4 tire inflator, as having all 4 at the same PSI is foreign to me. Yet, it seems that's how just about every one is running.

Thanks for the update!

You have a good analogy of the situation. Knowing what I know now I could have put the system together myself for less than what I have in it now with left over fittings:

Pneumatic Air line: https://www.amazon.com/Pneumatic-Me...688640220&sprefix=1/4+air+hose,aps,92&sr=8-10

Fittings: https://www.amazon.com/ProSSS-Pneum...prosss+48+pcs+1/4+quick+release,aps,69&sr=8-2

Air Chucks: https://www.amazon.com/CZC-AUTO-Str...8640827&sprefix=tire+chuck,aps,83&sr=8-5&th=1

and then use a 1/4" NPT quick connect to attach to a regular quick disconnect instead of the fitting to use an air chuck, which I also changed out.

Well now you're just giving away all the original manufacturer's secrets. ;)

Which is OK, because it really adds up to about the same price, just with less tangled hose situation, and lots of extra fittings to build more for your friends.

Thanks again!

I have George Washington's hatchet that he used on the cherry tree. Only replaced the handle 4 times and the head twice...

Sorry for the levity...
