Is that a bad price for a V6 you can just drop back in if yours took a dump?

Parts are cheap, its labor cost, supplies and taxes that eat up your budget

I’m just thinking back to when I rebuilt my 24 valve Cummins. It was heavy, ended up needing the block bored out, a new head and valves. If I could have gotten a pre assembled block for that price I would have jumped all over it.

Note to self: Find junkyard 392 out of a Ram and sit on it for a bit.
I’m sure it can be done, but all my searches at the moment show they’re all over $8k atm, used that is. You can damn near buy a crate motor for that much. I’m curious how much longer ram will put the 6.4 in the gasser HD models.

No shortage of wrecked Mopars out there.......the auctions are loaded with repos and wrecks.

Take a look on Copart.......find a wrecked 392 Wrangler, harvest from that.
