Grille or grumper

So I’m trying to decide on whether or not to do a grumper or just a grille bumper separate. Anyone have pros and cons

That style is somewhat polarizing. You have gotten this far with it on your own, I say do whatever make you happy and own it.

personally i have yet to see a grumper that wasn't also angry. Angry grilles or grumpers don't go over well in these parts because the type to typically drive such angry jeeps usually fit into one of a handful of stereotypes:

1. Totally would have been a soldier but I'm too defiant to make it through basic training.
2. Nothing in this world is more important that being a badass
3. "Alpha" males/Toxic masculinity
4. Douche bros
5. People whose biggest fear is people not paying attention to them

Whether you care about what goes over well in these parts is certainly up to you, but you should know it's not a forum-specific opinion, you can find it out in the wild among the general population. They might not delineate the groupings of stereotypes the same way, but they do dislike the "i don't have a personality so I gave my truck one instead" look for pretty much all the same reasons.

Definitely do not install any sort of grill overlay. And take off that goofy looking windshield frame you have right now.

My personal feelings about angry jeeps aside, there is no practicality to a "grumper" unless your goal is to total your vehicle when you get in an minor accident.

With a separated bumper and grille when you run into something the bumper will take that hit, and in most cases, deflect/absorb/etc. the force leaving the rest of the vehicle alone. Again, speaking about minor fender benders.

With a grumper you're going to smoosh the entire nose of the vehicle when you run into something.
