Hi Everyone, Is anyone running the Metacloak JT Gladiator 3.5" True Dual Rate Lift Kit? If so, how does it ride and handle on the road? Thank you.

A friend of mine has it on his overland diesel and loves it, I drove it a few times and it’s just like my gasser with a 2.5 metal cloak, he drove mine, that’s why he went and ordered his. Easy install bad ass ride and nice flex. Couldn’t ask for more.

This is his overland and the other is a picture of my gasser next to his diesel.

Rides and drives like stock. BUT my sway bar link bushings are shot at 20k miles on this lift and the rocksport shocks are getting tired and "vibratey" small oscillations in the road are causing some loseness.

Overall for like 1700$ all in its been amazing. I do wish the front springs were stronger for the weight of the diesel. It rides lower in the front even without a winch bumper.

I’m actually torn where my future dollars are going, I’m between metal cloak components or Clayton.

Clayton if you can afford to also do shocks at the same time. Metal cloak if you are on a budget and want something that rides oem. The diesel version is just gas front springs with a spacer it rides very soft.

Too soft for dune riding but perfect for trail/rock crawling. Clayton springs are a much higher rate and can hold body armor winches and such better.
