I have a 2020 Rub & @60k miles and installed a 3 layered protective film shortly after purchase. A lot of interstate mileage with NO chips or cracks but some rememberable IMPACTS. Removed one layer due to wear and scratching and still no issues after new impacts. Windshield films are, in my opinion, the BEST bang for your buck and offer true protection. I plan on Never replacing my original windshield.
