The DASM took calibration but yea, it may be the DASM that has the problem :( I'm betting (or at least hoping) its just the abs module is from an NON FCW vehicle or actually a defective one. the error says its a bad abs module. I can only hope thats the problem.

I verified all the wiring is there. Anyways, I doubt that I could communicate to either the abs module or the DASM if their was missing wiring. but I can. Other than a missing sensor thats not used in a non fcw vehicle, but used in a fcw vehicle? I've seen weirder problems but I'lll know in a week or two.

Yea, I wasn't worried about the part numbers being different, just whether it would work or not. In this case, it didn't work.

Hope you get it working.
BTW, adding the Paddle shifter is a great idea.

Mine is a manual, so a paddle shifter will do nothing, well, it would look cool :P. Ok, Got the correct part numbers for the jeep, on the abs pump and its associated controller, and once I initialized it, it is now working. So you can use USED parts, just need to make sure the abs pump and its controller arre from a ACC/DASM car. I found another cheap DASM module and that came in first, so I tried it, but it did the same exact thing. In short, I didn't have to buy so many parts to get it to work but I'm learning, and it was a learning thing for me more so than having ACC work on the Jeep. Your list at the start of the thread is the parts needed, and they don't have to be new, counting the fact that I had bought a $500 J2354 feedthrough programmer and got a single vin 1 month license for witech 2.0 and tech authority (not sure if I really needed tech authority), my costs are about $1500 to add acc/dasm. I still need a windshield though. The current one is the base glass, it works, just looks ugly. That will be the next expense. I'm figuring on another $800 for the glass.

Ok, on the heater harness, its actually just a single wire, coming from C2-K7 on the PDC going to connector xy309A-1. then finally to the Electric Windshield Wiper De-Icer Control. Is that just a tab that will be on the ACC Windshield? The other tabe just going to ground via xy309A-2? Is this a "harness" that can be ordered or just built?

Ok. Finally had some free time from work. Found the diagram for the defogger/defroster de-icer cirucit for this retrofit. So its a matter of getting the connectors and adding the wiring. This will complete my install of the ACC/DASM system in a WRANGLER JL (i'm quite sure the Gladiator will be identical). My install included all used parts, except for the overhead harness and the steering wheel switch. Costs can add up quickly, with the glass being the most expensive part since its new. If you intend to do the calibration yourself, it can add up quickly also. If you want to do it on the cheap, don't do it yourself, but have the glass installer do it for you. The settings that are provided here is all you change. I made so many changes on my install that I had to restore my original configuration and re-add all the retrofits I have done, to get rid of inplausible errors. Good luck if you try this. It can be done.

Here is the actual heater circuit.

I thought I was done, well, actually with the ACC install I'm done. Auto high beams I thought would be just a simple act of enabling the auto highbeams in the bcm. Nope, didn't do it. Its in my radio for the setting, but setting it just clears a few seconds later. I have my jeep updated to the latest firmware for all modules and still no go. I tried it anyways, and as i expected, it didn't work. Wondering if the dasm calibrating would need to be ran after auto highbeams were enabled again to get it to work. Not really part of the acc retrofit, but a good benefit of the acc addition. Appreciate any guidance.

I'm watching to see if you get the Auto High Beams to work. I have an early 2019 build Overland with ACC that I would like to enable it on. I used AlfaOBD to make the changes posted by @ShadowsPapa to enable it, but it won't activate for me.

I'm considering other possibilities now, the dasm is set up properly, with the latest firmware. The PCM and ABS is up-to-date. My vehicle is a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport. It had 0 options on it except the 3.6 motor. The radio was the delphi 4 inch base, no Satellite, no NAV. I have an ongoing issue which I discovered with Witech 2 that the Uconnect 8.4 I installed is complaining that nothing is talking to it. I also discovered that the SGW (security gateway) firmware is called "SGW Lowline Radio NAFTA" in Witech 2. Those errors do NOT show up in JSCAN or AlphaOBD. I can see the SGW in AlphaOBD, but i cannot connect to it. I beginning to wonder if the UConnect 8.4 radio is REQUIRED to have auto highbeams to work. I don't see why, but the setting is in the radio. If the radio isn't communicating to other modules, then yea, definitely the auto highbeams wouldn't come on.

What radio did your vehicle originally come with? Was your acc installed by the dealer or was it like that from the factory?

I have a loaded Overland. It came from the factory with ACC/FCW and the 8.4 Uconnect. It was one of the first the dealer received, production was started on March 28, 2019.

In your case, it very well may be the DASM needs an update and possibly recal'd. Has the DASM ever been updated since you bought the vehicle? From my understanding, jeep added the auto highbeams near the end of 2019. I updated my 8.4 uconnect to software version 39.6 today, no help. I tried reflashing the SGW, cleared the DTC's, and all DTC's relating to radio comms errors had gone away. However, about an hour later, they came back. Now Witech 2 won't let me reload firmware again on the SGW. What version is your radio at? You can find it by going into dealer access mode. Hold the driver side temperature up and temperature down, and the front defrost together and it'll pop up about 7 sec later. Scroll around and look for software version and it will have a line item "Application Version" and it will be something like USA-ASO-8.4-JR-30.25.0-20191119-J0HS in which the 30.25 is the software version. From my understanding you cannot do a firmware upgrade from the website anymore cause they aren't updating it.

what version is your dasm? radio?

My apologies for getting off topic.

I'm not aware of any updates, other than what would have been done when they replaced the steering box. I'll have to check the version on the 8.4 software. It was updated about two years ago. The latest version was sent when I ordered a map update.

I'll have to take my tablet out and check. Where would that show in AlfaOBD?

don't think you can see it in alphaobd. Do you have jscan? if so, you can just go to the module screen.

Adding the ICRM heater circuit is fairly straight forwarded on a Jeep wrangler. Not sure if the windshield folds down on a gladiator but it makes the process a 15 min job. The harness I used was part number 68398637AD and listed as antenna wiring oddly. I have a base Jeep with 0 options originally and the wiring terminates for the dasm heater underneath that cowl cover on the drivers side. The cover is held in with 4 torx screws. You’ll see the connector with a blank cover on it. Remove the blank and plug the harness in. Remove the 4 screws holding the windshield (same size torx bit) to the upper support. If you have a hard top, you’ll need to remove the upper panels to allow the windshield to swing down. The wipers will need to be pushed forward. Alternatively you could remove them but not necessary. Route your heater harness under the windshield and between the hood and rubber seal using the rubber seal to hold the wiring securely. Then from the top, push the windshield forward and run the harness up the front n side of the polar and put the 2 plastic pins in the two plastic holes in the existing harness. Continue the harness plugging the remaining fasteners in the only holes they’ll fit in. Then clip the end of the harness onto the windshield. Reinstall your acres for the windshield and reinstall your cowl cover. In your preferred tool you’ll need to enable ICRM heater. That’s it.

as for auto headlights, it’s a work in progress, however I’ve discovered the actual problem. How to correct it is another issue. The bcm when queried list the location of the auto headlights not in the ICRM when you select ICRM. It’s instead showing as reserved. I have my bcm programmed to the latest offered by molar however it still shows reserved.Mopar is intentionally leaving it out so those of us with 2019 wranglers cannot enable auto high beams.

if anyone has a 2019 Jeep wrangler that has auto high beams working, I’m curious what is the bcm part number in your vehicle. I’m contiplating installing a 2020 bcm in my wrangler since I’m suspecting that will fix it. I’m also suspecting those limited 2019 wranglers that came from the factory with auto high beams working have the 2020 bcm.

Even though it’s popping up as reserved, it should still be changing the correct bit for IRCM, but possibly not broadcasting it.
Can you post your current AlfaOBD backup file with that setting set to IRCM (this is the file that has a bunch of line items of numbers and letters that all start with 62)?
Do you have a canbus logger?
