Yes it kills mpg for sure!
???
Doesn't with mine, and didn't on my 2020 either. My wife doesn't generally use cruise and we found no difference with or without.
We've made a lot of long highway trips with both trucks and it really had no impact.
It was smooth, not jerky and MPG didn't suffer.
You guys must need to have your trucks fixed.

Thing to consider is that the ACC is also a Safety System. If there was to be an accident, it can open up possible extra liability to the owner that installed it vs. one that was installed as built from the factory. A good accident lawyer can pick the fly shit out of this

I have stock gears and 37s so I can modulate the power better with my foot than the computer can where I live. Maybe on the highway where I think is the only place that benefits acc. But here it’s punching the gas to keep speeds up. I don’t need to keep up that perfectly so I can do better by easing the gas with my foot. So yes for me it hurts my mpg some

It's plug and play with factory wiring harnesses and activating the modules. No custom harnesses required. It's expensive but totally doable. I've been using my retrofitted acc for almost a year.

Since Jimmy's last post, we have discovered you can use a "used" DASM. AS for the ABS pump, I'm struggling with part numbers in trying to find one used that will work. My 2nd one is on the way, but counting the first goof ($75 for the ABS pump), all total, I'm in for about $145 for the DASM (used), $278 for the ABMS pump, $45 for the overhead harness (new), $25 for the ACC steering wheel switches, and about $60 for the Enclosure and mirror insert. I struggled with finding a dealer that would install anything after the fact, so I bought a J2354 at $500, 40 for tech authority single vin, and I forgot what I paid for the Witech 1 month license. So for a bit over $1000 total which is very reasonable. Mines a work in progress, so this could be premature lol. Oh, I didn't mention the windshield. I'll eventually need the windshield updated this fall when temps start dipping. Works fine with the stock windshield, just ugly lol. The actual calibration took less than 10 minutes of driving. Thing that sucks is you need constant internet on your laptop for the duration of the calibration.

Do you have a step-by-step guide on what you have to do for the retrofit?

Can you share details where you got the retrofit?

Thanks.

I am about to start purchasing parts for the ACC retrofit.

I am planning on getting all new parts for it.

Can anyone tell me which ABS pump/module I need for my 2023 Rubicon Diesel?

@rhill2901 How did you manage the USED ACC camera? - Witech can handle this.

Title describes it, couldn’t find it searching.
Let’s forego the love/hate with ACC for a min, but can I add it to my 2022 Mojave? I know there’s that empty plug under the driver’s side cowl…. But didn’t know what else is involved or if at all possible.
Check out this thread as it has already been done

Hi,
I bought Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 2020 but I don't have anything in the box Infront of my mirror (only wires) and I want to restore all missing items. I think it had an ACC because of the buttons on the steering wheel.
