I finally have a full operational auto high beams setup on a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. It works exactly the way it suppose to, gives me a message that It is enabled when the stalk is moved forward and disabled when I move it forward a second time. The headlights dim when another vehicle is approaching, and it pretty cool. It even dims when my highbeams are on and the other vehicle doesn't even have their headlights even on. To get the messages, I had to flash the speedo frimware from a 2019 to a 2020 wrangler. This is a good indication that Mopar never intended to put auto highbeams on the 2019 wrangler (and probably gladiator also). Keep in mind, the auto highbeams works off the acc system. PREREQUISITE for auto highbeams is a functional ACC system.

My ACC works flawlessly. It works just like you would expect it to.

Okay, short version, what do you think it would take to get Auto Highbeams working on my Overland? It is a early 2019 version with ACC/FCW installed and working. I tried the changes outlined using AlfaOBD. It now shows the option in the head unit, but it doesn't activate.

Short version is: Replace the firmware on your BCM from a 2020 BCM. Then replace the firmware on your IPC (speedo cluster) to the 2020 IPC.

warning: Don't forget to backup your existing configuration before you replace anything.

I am about to embark on adding ACC on my 2023 JTRD.

Do I need to purchase new ARB control module and the pump assembly? (Which I do not mind doing to have this function).

- I found the Ram forum document. The answer is yes. New ACC capable ABS modules are needed.

DASM (Driver Assistant System Module), is this the ACC Front Cam that sits over the front?

- Yes. DASM = Front Cam Assmebly.

So far, I learned:

Need trim pieces, DASM unit, wiring for the DASM, Heating element wiring, ABS related components.

Used DASM and ABS components can be used.

ABS unit VIN can be reset with AlfaOBD. While Original VIN value is retained. "Current" value is to be reprogrammed.

"I had bought a $500 J2354 feedthrough programmer and got a single vin 1 month license for witech 2.0 and tech authority (not sure if I really needed tech authority)"

Where do I get J2354 Programmer?

I am gathering parts. I need some help identifying part numbers for ACC capable ABS module and controller and wiring harness for DASM for my 2023.

Yes, it works identical to the RAM installation. I got my J2354 programmer on amazon. Its the mongoose jeep/chrysler adapter. I'll sell mine for $250 plus shipping if you don't mind a used one.

As I began installing components, I discovered numerous error codes which resulted in additional components (to comprise the list above). I do not have adaptive or standard cruise functioning currently. I have to calibrate the ACC ABS valves and the ACC system. I haven't discovered how to do this with either Jscan or ALFA OBD, I may need to use the Micropod with Witech 2.0.

Blast from the past, but do you recall how you calibrated the ACC ABS valves? I'm wrapping up an ACC install (new ABS, DASM module etc), and this is the only code left in the new ABS module (ACC Valves not calibrated - C220B-00)

And a follow up - cleared the C220B-00 code using the 'Inlet Valve Calibration' and 'Pilot Valve Calibration' functions in AlfaOBD. I was a little surprised the Thinktool Pros diag tool wouldn't do it. A straight 'ABS Initialization' function on the Thinktool Pros didn't suffice.
