Don't worry, Toyota will come for your culo with their sky high APRs. I found that out the hard way when I bought the wife a new Prius.
Currently at 3.99% which isn't any worse than others. Jeep is at 6.9% on the gladiator right now.

I was at the dealership yesterday picking up my JT. Saw a 24 JL Rubicon 4xe in the lot. Sticker was $70,000. I didn't think the prices were that high yet but I guess I was wrong.

Dealer near me has a 24 Rubicon 4xe loaded for $75k! Needless to say it's been sitting ever since it came in at least a month ago. Prices are freakin' bonkers.

Something to consider when people say they want a V8 or 4XE. They’re not a free upgrade, lol.

maybe im naive or completely missing something....but why 392 on the wrangler and not the gladiator to begin with? is that not a much better suited truck engine? am i completely missing something? the only complaint i have is the engine just doesn't quite have the juice that a truck engine should. or at least it doesnt feel that way. is this another "can't figure out how to cool it" thing?

I'd pay more than that if they released a 392 XR JT. Price I don't mind. I just want it to come from the Factory and not have to go aftermarket to AMW.

I’d say a 392 JT with the XR package would be over $100,000. I just saw a Wrangler with a 392 and no XR for $89,000.

At least you get a discount on the 4xe. The 2023 Rubicon 4xe are around $60k on the lots near me. You get $3750 in tax credit which brings it down to around $56k, which is the same price as the 2023 Rubicons on the same lot.

Not near me. A Willys 4xe has a window starting at 60k

I’ve been in “gonna buy a Gladiator” land for a couple months now, and after the 24 “unveil” looked at some other options and was wide eyed at how much more affordable everything else was by comparison. I knew this, and know about taking doors and tops off plus out of the box capability and brand etc. (and I’ve had 3 Jeeps to date), and how it’s like buying a car and a dirtbike at the same time, but it was like the emperors new clothes when I saw $30s and $40s on new prices. Like heart startling “woah look at that!” comparisons. That’s some strong Koolaid I’ve been drinking…

I went to the N.A.I. Detroit Auto Show and thought it would be 'fun' to try to capture it with my own video and pics. So, here is a link to some of my new '24 Gladiator Mojave footage which I finished editing (maybe?) late last night if anyone would like another perspective.

As well, I'll be posting a few more Jeep related videos as well as other brands as I'm able to work through what seem to be more edit than I ever realized.

I'll confess, attempting to seamlessly narrate a video, focus the camera, stay on point with the messaging (messaging I thought I already new, but seem to forget when the camera is staring at me or demands my attention steering it) has been a bit of a trial by fire. As well, editing video is a true craft, and I can't help but to feel like I'm out on the dance floor with two left feet. Still, it's been a real joy stretching myself with a new passion project. I hope you enjoy my "I'm self taught and it shows" experience!

Cheers!
