Why is nobody talking about the potential for a full-float rear axle? In my mind, that would be one of the most important possible updates for the 2024 Gladiator next to the Hurricane motor, the infotainment revamp, and dare I say B pillar airbags (can't count the number of times my passenger has hit their head on the B pillar while wheeling; when I imagine a severe side impact all I can see is needing to emergently get wheeled into the OR for a brain bleed). Greater bed cargo weight capacity with full-float rear axle, though I'm not sure whether towing capability would significantly improve; it seems that towing is more limited by cooling ability.

I'm staying 2023 for the tried-and-(mostly)-true late production Pentastar.
I am wondering if it will be possible to swap one into our older rigs. Hopefully everything will line up well

Talked to a dealer last night. Good chance he was feeding me lines to get me to buy a '23 now, but he said based on what they've heard on their side, they don't expect any changes until '25 on the Gladiators.

I'm inclined to doubt that. First, because as stated, he has a vested interest in downplaying the appeal of a future model so that I'll buy a current one now. Second, if the '24 was going to be the same as '20-'23, we likely would see it by now. Last year, Koons announced '23 MY available to order on August 12, and the '23 build & price was live on Jeep.com on Sept 1.

Yeah I can't see them not matching what's in the wrangler, unless they have an over abundance of parts they need to get rid of. And that would include parts they would put aside for repairs.
keeping two manufacturing lines open just seems like they would be losing money over standardizing on one.
I've never worked supply chain though so I'm just guessing on how it all works.

Why are they taking so long to show the 2024 . Didn't we learn about the Wrangler a month ago?

They either have some changes that they are delaying the revealing to get the 23's off the lots, or they are delaying the disappointment that will come with the minimal changes that are revealed at the auto show.

There is like a 200+ market day supply of Gladiators. They are in no hurry to get 2024's on the lot.
