Mines not a Rubicon. But got 8% off invoice in 21 and ended up at 42k out the door. All said and done with mods and upgrades 70k and climbing.

It's not that big of a deal... it is rare... when doing your research, look into the numbers sold vs. failures. If I recall correctly (could be wrong) it's less than 1%. Nothing to worry about. (Unless it happens to you... lol)I should do some more research on these pumps. What are they going for out in Iowa ?
I would make sure as part of the deal they allow you to have it checked out at a reputable shop familiar with diesels and 4x4's...I’m not buying from a dealer. It’s a private party sell, so there is probably still some room to negotiate. Dealers have so many markups and hidden “packages” that they can’t remove from the sticker price
It wasn’t Checkered Flag was it?Interesting as I also bought my Gladiator in Newport News as it was also a great deal and worth the 4 hour drive.
You are correct at less than 1%. There is a thread on here relating to that issue. It's not that big of a deal... it is rare... when doing your research, look into the numbers sold vs. failures. Mine is like that almost every available option as well as being a Rubicon. I doubt you will regret the diesel once you drive a 3.6 and get back in the diesel there will be no question. Also if you price a new Rubicon 3.6 it will be a 4005.00 cheaper vehicle as they add that amount for the diesel engine alone.Near LA, yeah I think the previous owner added almost every option available
Yes, it was. Very happy with the deal. Had a little issue with them on the financing (I was pre approved with BOA who was their preferred lender but they tried to inflate my rate by .05% and only backed off when I handed them my paperwork) and the hard push with the warranties, etc. but we got thru it without too much hassle. I held firm and they caved in.It wasn’t Checkered Flag was it?
I was really happy with the whole experience with them. Mainly the price drop from the window sticker. Most of what I was looking at comparatively equipped were listed 72-73,000. My sticker is 69 and change. I got it for a little under 62. Incentives and rebates helped there as well and the model year was ending.Yes, it was. Very happy with the deal. Other than that, it was a very positive experience and they took care of the couple of paint flaws I found prior to delivery.

Checkered Flag used to be Pomoco and they were great then, bought a Ram from them. Glad to hear they still are decent. May have to check them out again as the dealership right down the street from me is not good. I went up to Northern Va for my deal as no dealers around me had diesels I wanted at the time.I was really happy with the whole experience with them. Mainly the price drop from the window sticker.
