MT Baja Boss comes in a 255/85r17 ( I think that is the metric number ) that is basically a 35x10.

I wish they came in a 36x11r17!

I've running Falken Wildpeak AT3w tires on 3 different vehicles now. When I got my JT it came with them. I found a great deal on 5 37/12.5 R18 tires for $1400 so it was an even easier decision to stay with my tire choice. Although they are a 12.5" wide tire, mounted on my OEM Overland 7.5" wheels they kind of have a skinnier look

Nice! I'd be OK with wild peaks. I've been pretty happy with the stock Rubicon Wildpeak AT3's - 33's. But I want 35's, and prefer to stay on the stock rims so I can put the money into a lift. Being able to keep the stock wheels will save me around $1500 to put towards a Mopar 2" lift. I don't want 37's - or really - I don't want the extra expense involved in steering, regearing and suspension that 37's bring. But if I found a $1400 deal on the wild peaks, I'd probably head that direction. The only problem is that the WPeak 35's are all 12.5 wide which pushes me into new wheels....so the sale price wouldn't really help at all. The MThompson Baja Bosses would definitely come out cheaper than Wildpeak's and Wheels.

So....sigh..... (J)ust (E)mpty (E)very (P)ocket. LOL. Never ending....

I know on Falken's website they show an 8.5" minimum width. Depending on your installer, in my case, Discount Tire, mounted my 12.5" tires on my OEM 7.5" wheels. DT's website shows the minimum width for these as 7.5". They didn't bat an eye when I brought the tires in. So maybe you can keep your OEM wheels

Toyo 35x11.50r17 tires on my Gladiator and my Wrangler. The Toyo is my goto tire. They are good for long trips on pavement and they have performed faultlessly off-road. I tried these because they fit on the stock wheels, they fit inside the fenders, they fit without needing a lift (Rubicons), and they weighed virtually the same as the 285/70r17 tires I took off.

Well I am going to go with some Toyo's and give those a try. Gotta chose something. If I find I don't like them well then can consider pulling them and selling them. Go back to the Wildpeaks until maybe down the line more Pizza cutters make an appearance

You probably won't regret them, I have a smaller set on a different vehicle and they are amazing. Snow traction has been second to non outside of a proper Winter tire and they make driving through puddles like nothing.

Hopefully they will work well on wet cement cause that is mostly what Houston and surrounding roads are.

Here's another option Hankook Dynapro XT. I'm running these. They are really quiet, good in the rain and snow so far. What I really like is the tapered blocks tread design, they don't collects and slings small rocks everywhere like my old wildpeaks.
