How much mark up is on this JT? Has to be around 30%.
The base price of $65k is ridiculous. They replaced the entire drivetrain, seats, and most if the interior. If they didn't start with a stripped sport they are just dumb. Starting with the right base saves $30k+ right off the top.

I lol'd at the picture of the key fob as if that's a "feature" they needed to show.

Be interesting to see how much their AMW 1000 gets at Barrett-Jackson.

I know people that time share aircraft that cost less than that thing.

At that money buy a new factory built heavily optioned Mercedes G63 and have an extra 20k for dinner.

No front turn signals? Pass!
Yeah, like really? They can't even sell that as road legal. Wouldn't even pass inspection in states that require it

It's about as fully built as you can get, but at that price it's still overkill. Not that they used poor quality parts, but if I were sinking that kind of money into a build I would absolutely need to pick every single piece. The rock krawler Long arms up front and their pro x rear for instance would be far better than the teraflex kit on this build in my opinion. The demon crate motor from Mopar is almost $10k more than the mmx version with 3.0L Whipple for roughly the same power. You could definitely build it better, likely for less money, with better parts choices. Add in doing even some of the when yourself and you could save $50-100k.
Agree on all points but I wonder if the swap is easier with the Hellcrate vs the MMX/Whipple on account of all the electronic gizmos talking to each other easier/better?

QFT. Starting out with a Rubicon when most of the stuff that makes a Rubicon is swapped out? Silly and pointless. Get a Sport, build it up with Rubicon parts as needed.

The mmx crate motor is still demon block based. All sensors etc should be the same. I thought it was funny they listed the rubicon transfer case separately, I'd say that's the weak link in the drive train at this point not to mention I don't think you need 4-1 LO range with 1,000hp. Why not a 3.0-1 atlas? Better match and much stronger case.

My guess is because they know the buyer of a $200K+ "built" JT isn't going to take it to King of the Hammers, let alone too far off a gravel road... But yes, you're correct. A heavier transfer case would be proper.

All that money into the engine and the suspension is basic?! :headbang:Falcon shocks are great, I'm not trashing those. I'm disappointed that there's no coilovers+ bypass+ bump stops on all for corners for that price. For that money you can buy a used trophy truck and a brand new gladiator with money left over for upgrades for the JT!
