How do you turn on the bed lights? [FIXED]

My JT came with the bed LED lights. They were working when I got the truck. They sprayed on the bedliner a few days ago; the lights don't come on anymore.

I read somewhere that I had to push the light to turn them on. I tried that; the lights don't do squat.

So how do you turn on the stupid lights?

The bed liner people likely disconnected them for the job, then put them back in forgetting to reconnect. Or they blew a fuse.

But the answer is they turn on when you unlock it, stay on with any of the four doors open, and there is a switch under the fog switch to the left of the steering wheel.

Also, the push in thing is a myth. Rams have push lights, but gladiators don’t.

Since they were working as they should before, I'd take it back to whoever did the spray in liner & have them make it right.

Fwiw, they are annoying to keep turned on. I and many others have added our own bed lights that listen to what we tell them.

Pop the lights out and see if they're connected.

Oracle 60" LED Bed Light Strips cut to length & mounted on the bottom surface of the mount rails for my Roll N Lock.
Switched using one of the OEM factory auxiliary dash switches.
Much more usable light.... problem solved.

Very nice. This picture shows a messy camping/trail day bed, but I put KC’s under hood lights in the bed. They’ve been fantastic. Yours looks much better.

I checked: the lights are connected.

I press on the dashboard switch and a symbol that looks like a shower head lights up on the instrument panel, but the stupid bed lights still don't come on.

Yes, that is what I am going to have to do. I was hoping it would be a simple fix.

I am going to have to drive 30 miles each way to the bedliner shop.

I checked: the lights are connected.

I press on the dashboard switch and a symbol that looks like a shower head lights up on the instrument panel, but the stupid bed lights still don't come on.

I’d check the fuse then.

Very nice. This picture shows a messy camping/trail day bed, but I put KC’s under hood lights in the bed. They’ve been fantastic. Yours looks much better.

Thanks, I've been very happy with the light coverage along the full length of the bed, so not very many dark shadows around whatever might be loaded back there.

I like it. You spent more time than i did. I mounted one of my lights in front of the co2 tank to avoid that shadow. They’ve worked well. I just installed a switch on the blank where some people have bed power. I love being able to turn it on from there.
