Just picked up two mid size boxes and two tool organizers. They stack, lock together, and side by side fit perfectly. They squeeze under the tonneau by 1/4”.

I have a full bed rug.

I had almost the exact same setup, BedRug and all, except that I had a Diamondback cover which afforded me a waterproof cover that was also very theft resistant. I carried most of my hand tools in one box and recovery gear in the other. The reason I’m commenting here is because I have sold my Gladiator and I’m selling the Diamondback if anyone is interested. It has a headache rack and extra cleats. I could easily carry my 14’ Hobie pro angler on the truck and still have access to the bed. If you are interested, message me and I can send you pics.

Welp... got a couple. About to start transferring everything and condensing down further.

The two green Plano's are a mix of both general gear and kitchen. I want to see how much I can get into these two and then determine if I need a third Ridgid box for my usual crap.

I didn’t get the one with wheels… that may be wider.

The guys at Home Depot let me run them out to the truck to test fit. The dewalt ones fit too, just not as snug and more $$$.

The smaller storage was not on sale, but I just had to ?

This is exactly what I did for my camping set up. The first two boxes carry all my cutlery and cooking supplies, the smallest carries batteries, head lamps, first aid etc.

Based off this thread, I ended up going with their taller 22in XL toolbox (the same one that comes with the wheels, but you can buy it without them). Only have one so far, but it's the same width as the one the OP purchased (when no wheels are attached). Haven't decided whether I'm going to purchase a second yet, but it's much nicer and more compact than the way I was storing things before so I'm happy.

Yeah the Ridgid boxes are the cats tail. I've been using them since I got my JT. Three first Gen. I started with them for my firearms tool box then a crate for misc. parts. But, now I've got 16 all together 4 open crates, 3 with wheels. Gen 2 cart boxes are a step up IMHO for use. One has just metric tools for when I get started installing lift kit and front locker. Two for batteries tools. So I've started marking them.

There is 3 lined up, I can stack up for work area too. Good weather protection can wash off with hose or at car wash. Not bear proof but raccoons and rodent resistant.

Was inspired by the OP's original post, so I went to Harbor Freight today and got the Bauer Toolboxes. They fit well under the Revolver X4s tonneau with a Bedrug. Budget overland setup.
