Bloomberg article says Jeep "will lower prices and add models and features to its lineup this year as it seeks to regain market share lost to squeezed consumers and stiffer competition in its core US market."

hmm, sounds very vague. Both in timeframe and scope.

But it does go on to say "It is cutting prices on its Jeep truck, the Gladiator, by an average of $1,700."

When was that written? This is current -

Jeep has added more than $3,000 in content to the flagship Jeep Wrangler off-roader as well as the refreshed ’24 Gladiator midsize pickup, whose manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $1,700 lower this week starting at $38,990.

This is pretty current -

Jeep Gladiator Jeep is Cutting Prices and Adding Content! 1708731076029

The current Sport base MSRP is under that at
Jeep Gladiator Jeep is Cutting Prices and Adding Content! 1708730996710

But then dealers always have different numbers from my experience.........

Also today, about a half hr after the Detroit one. Looks like there was a media event they're all citing, where a bunch of info was dropped.

About the dealers... yeah... that's the thing. I don't like talking to them without some some numbers of my own. Now going to be a bit harder to discern whether we're both working with up-to-date info.

I'm still hoping for an early 2025 gladiator 4xe in hellayella like they did for the 2024 wrangler that came out last June.
If they did a 4xe type Gladiator in reign, consider me traded.

They dropped the Renegade out of the lineup. Figures since the sales have been flat and the days supply was like almost two years worth at one time.

...and making the resale values of our Jeeps more dismal than they already are.
Since I generally trade - what you lose on one end you gain on the other, so I don't really care.
All that matters to me on trades is the DIFFERENCE.
If a drop in MSRP means a drop in the value of mine - the math may work out the same.
I generally don't even look unless or until I am ready or considering it.

Agreed, but only if the other end of the deal is right.

It would be interesting to see if they 4xe the 3.6L.…..not that I’ve heard anything along these lines.

Hopefully the 4xe will have acceptable pricing. I'm looking forward to it. I'm okay with it coming with the 4 cylinder turbo in that case but sure would be even cooler if they could shove the hurricane straight 6 in there. I might have to go that route instead

Well on another thread that showed that 2024 builds were now live, I mentioned how now I’d have to be on the Mojave X and at like 65k, when just late 2020 I paid less than 50k. So news of them dropping price means nothing to me since they raised it so high. Probably just now dropping to a more ‘normal’ price.
