Sounds good for a Rubi. Was able to negotiate this deal yesterday (Dec 31st, 2019) in the afternoon at my local dealer here in South Carolina.
Again, we know value is in the eye of the beholder. So, as long as you walk away from the dealer feeling like YOU got a good deal, that is all that matters. I felt like this was a good deal for me.
2020 Granite Crystal Gladiator Rubicon.
MSRP: $57,085
Invoice: $52,262
Paid: $51,217 +500 rebate to dealer from PenFed.
+ $639 Doc Fee
+ $500 Tax
+ $148 Title/Reg
Total OTD price: $52,728.
Yeah, but they raped him with no lube on the doc fee. So, it's a wash.only $500 in taxes? I need to move . . .
ME TOO!!!only $500 in taxes? I need to move . . .
That's not a wash where I liveYeah, but they raped him with no lube on the doc fee. So, it's a wash.
Not only on the doc fee, but also on the title/registration paperwork. I paid $20.Yeah, but they raped him with no lube on the doc fee. So, it's a wash.
9.25% here but......no income taxes. Not only on the doc fee, but also on the title/registration paperwork. I paid $20.
Even still, I sure want his tax.
In the county where I bought mine, it's 7.25% on the vehicle's purchase price (+ doc fees).
Frickin' Commies.
Dude, there's no denying you got hosed hard on the doc & title/registration fees. That's a given.I live in SC. You can move here, but only if you like your liberty and freedom. No libtards, socialists, or commies!
I wasn't interested in getting a deal that would put my dealer out of business. I want him to be successful and be able to service my vehicle going forward. So I didn't negotiate down the doc prep fee at all and of course the title and reg fees were already set. All in all the deal was successful because I felt like I got a good deal and the dealership was happy with the price too.
