Crap - now dealer says "you can keep your tonneau cover and move it over to a new Gladiator". There goes a $1K excuse.
I was asking about other level options to get some stuff settled, and just chat and have coffee and talk Jeeps and the new Dodge cars coming out.... and I said "that one is nice but I'd have to kick in for another tonneau cover......... and he says nope, keep it.

He says "put the plastic bumper back on" and that means I'd have an extra steel front bumper.
He's still working, still trying. (Eibach rear shocks they don't care about, either)
Man, sounds like a great dealer you got there……..

Man, sounds like a great dealer you got there……..
We were chatting about me wondering about putting the power seats in my wife's JLU and other odds and ends and he'd already given me a price on my 22 as a trade. The sales manager came by and he said "you remember Bill, they've bought several Jeeps from us over the years" and the guy pointed to a piece of paper with some figures on it and said "add another $500 to that" and walked on.
They are restricted by "corporate" on what they can do. Pretty tight reigns it sounds like, but he does at least try for an "MSRP only" type dealer.

Still pushing myself away thinking - yeah, but no LSD and I like that for plowing and - but would Mojave springs even support 300# worth of iron and hydraulics sticking well out in front of the bumper.
Took Synergy 2" springs to get my Overland to sit nicely with and without the plow.

I will say one thing - I didn't think it was possible to match or top the ride of an Overland. Now I'm not so convinced I'm right.

The Mojave has a rear lockers, which can be used in 4wd HI.
But I also think the 24 Willys has the same rear locker.

Earlier this week, we had 2 pickups with plows try to plow one of our county roads. The first pickup couldn't make it to the end of the road. The second pickup made it, it had a rear locker, first one didn't.
In reality, we probably should of used a piece of equipment, not a regular pickup. But we were already back there and it would of taken several hours to get a loader back there.

Ignore me, you don't really want to the all that work on of switching over.

At the Jeep dealership now. Just to add to your thought process. Here is how they mount the new reservoir for the Bilsteins.

Exactly where the plow brackets go - same space.
But I have wondered about the fact that I do remove the plow during better months - the brackets are only on there like 4 or 5 months, so bolting the reservoirs to the brackets and then switching back to stock in the summer, or just mounting them with the other brackets that use the sway bar mounts, that's become almost a non-issue now.

Yeah, didn't get a chance to pull the pad off that side and see what was under there - MIGHT work, will ask the company and see what they say.
Here’s what it looks like under the pad if it helps anyone at all.

That pretty much falls into the top end of "a dusting" or if a bit above that, a minor annoyance.
Looks dry. We don't get dry snow often but when we do, the leaf blower can be used.

;)
