Heads up diesel guys easy 62 hp and 87 lb ft of torque improvement! Not sure what this will do for the gas motors but at least 10% improvement.

Working on motorcycles with the Phillips head bolts in the cases. The impact driver was mandatory to loosen them up. I have 3 of them.

I think I have that exact same one. One of the best tool investments I ever purchased.

The first one I bought was from a motorcycle shop. The second one was from NAPA. The third one was from Snap-On. The one from the motorcycle shop has a mushroom head on it now. :CWL:

I totally believe you. My pedal covers plus the diamond plate dead pedal added an additional few horses on my Gascon.

Now that I’ve not seen before. Pretty cool. So spring loaded, hand impact wrench for small fasteners?

Yep. I've used it on 5/8" bolts on one job.

It Has a cam in it so that when you smack it with a mallet it turns the tip and uses downward force to keep it in the screw head while under pressure.

If you have the inclination a pix of the BD lights and how they look at night would be cool.
First pic I covered the BD lights with cardboard so this is stock backup and brake. There will be a little bleed from the garage opener light in all pics.

Second pic is stock reverse and bd lights.

Is it somehow more powerful than a power impact wrench? If not, what’s the draw? I usually don’t have space to get the wrench in there, let alone extra space to hit it from behind.

I’ve only used it for light duty work. The advantage for Phillips head screws is that the downforce keeps it from stripping the screw head while giving it the impact that cracks the screw loose.

I can definitely see that for those. No question. Thanks for showing me a tool I didn’t know about.
