 Just got a '23 Gladiator diesel two weeks ago. 200 miles, just popped the check engine light tonight & found only the P0341 code. No drivability issues yet; will be reaching out to the dealer tomorrow.... Will be following this thread.

I'm having the same issue. Check engine light with DTC P0341. First time was 2/24, it cleared itself same day. Second time was exactly two weeks later, 3/9, and again cleared itself same day. Third time was this past Sunday 3/24. I already had an appointment scheduled at the dealership for the following day so I drove it straight to the dealer and dropped it off. Of course, the code cleared itself over night and was simply stored in the PCM. Dealer test drove it for roughly 40 miles, turning the truck off and on throughout that time to try to get the code to come back with no luck.

They provided me with a STAR Online Publication Case Number: S2318000011 which states not to do anything at this time as the issue is "intermittent and currently under investigation."
According to the dealer, Stellantis is working on a software fix for this issue.

I did notice that anytime the DTC returned, it was when I started the truck from inside as opposed to remote starting it.

They keep working on mine, telling me I’m a guinea pig for star. Over 100 days in the shop now within one year of buying it and they are not helping me with a rental nor are they giving me any money that I am losing because it is a business vehicle. Had to get a lawyer because I took them through the NCDS lemon law, but they had the dealership give it back to me right before it was over saying it was fixed but the dealership saying it was not so NCDS is telling me I should get a fraud lawyer on top of a new lemon law lawyer. The last thing they have tried last month is they replace the wire harness a third time, but with more insulated wire, saying that the wires were picking up a signal from somewhere else.

I am having the same thing. Sometimes it clears itself and sometimes I need to clear it. No drivability issue while it is on. I hope someone will figure out cause and fix.

I'm not hopeful for a quick fix considering Stellantis just fired a bunch of software engineers.

Other than this, I am very happy with the truck.

Passenger side. Against the firewall heatshielding running vertical behind the down pipe and EGR flange that goes from post DPF filter up to the EGR. The harness is very close to the exhaust and can overheat and cause issues. How it overheats and doesnt melt but causes electrical issues? No clue. Its a known issue. You can wrap it in DEI sleeving and tuck it against the battery to the passenger side.

can you show me this DEI sleeving?

I just rolled over 5000 miles and my P0341 code came up too. I just erased it for now. Jeep dealer said it isnt an issue bit I could bring it in.

Thanks for the thread everyone. Adding this anecdotally.

Purchased new Diesel Gladiator April 23. Currently has ~5200 miles.

Engine light has been intermittent 3 times since December of 23. Always resetting after an overnight rest. Code P0341 crankshaft position sensor.
Sensor replaced last week. Indicator light came back on the same evening as I headed home from work. This time it stuck and will not reset. Same code is pulling at dealership.
Dropped vehicle back off the next morning. Dealership is awaiting guidance from manufacturer and believe it will be a computer replacement.....uggg.
Also, driving from dealership to work to home and back to dealership was 42 miles; burned 1/3 of a tank of fuel with outside temperature in the 70s. Range went from over 140 miles to 24 when I pulled in. Didn't notice any performance issue, just that my tank was empty :(

Keep sharing as I'm becoming dubious of any recommended fixes. Feel like I'm chasing ghosts.

Hey I’ve been having the same issue with camshaft position sensor coming on and turning off by itself overnight. The dealership replaced the sensor and I’ve had the recall high pressure fuel pump replaced also but the issue is still happening. Did the dealership replace your computer? If so, did it fix the issue with the camshaft position sensor and fuel reading? I hope you got yours all fixed up and taken care of

Mine has not been fixed yet. They replaced the computer, the sensor a few times, even hardwired it, wire harness twice and now, currently has a homemade wire harness as per star instructions with rerouted wires and foil tape all around it everywhere and now blowing fuses with the light still showing up. Anywhere from 50 to 700 miles or more and they are not offering me anything in compensation aren’t even giving me a loaner that I can do work with. It has been in the service department after being bought for over 100 days on and off.

I’m subscribing. I have a 2023 JLUD that I bought new in March of 2023. The CEL for P0341 goes off every other day, sometimes every day. Can’t use remote start for AC as a result. Have seen dealer star report showing it’s a known issue. If ANYONE finds a fix, please let us all know. Thanks.

***Update 07/01/2024

Have had the vehicle back for about 3 weeks. They reran the wiring harness as mentioned above in this thread and put in a couple of twists and a shield as instructed by the manufacturer. It's running great. No issues. I've heard they suspect it's a interference issue sending bad signals. The service rep working with me truly believed it's a bad computer but so far it's holding. 🤞
I will say the dealer has been great and they also opened a Starcase but have not heard any updates other than that. Good luck, will update as I learn more.
