Or, tonight I parked in the garage with the mpg showing 21.3 - no wind, combo of 65 and 55 mph driving, lots of hills.

I’ve gotten close at 19.5. I can’t ever see getting better than that honestly though unless it’s a downhill trip mostly. ;)

You can fit a small cordless impact in there, to rip off the swaybar links. Sure it’s not as convenient as a button, but doesn’t lock you back up until you want it to, and when you do lock it back up, you won’t be on the road questioning if the mechanical parts fully engaged - you’ll explicitly know, beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Why not just install inexpensive quick disconnecting links?

The knuckles are an easy get. I actually ordered the steel knuckles today. The only thing not Mohave will be the reinforced frame for jumping. I have no intention to jump it. I’d say either start sport or rubicon. The deciding factor for me would be the transfer case. If you want factory 4:1 low range, get a ruby. If you don’t care, or would consider an atlas, start with an overland so you get the interior trim stuff, and go nuts.
And the seats......they're definitely better then the ones in my JLUR

Hell yeah brother
I’m somewhat surprised they don’t offer those seats either as an option when ordering, or with the rubicon and overland trims as well. You’d think they’d spend less money on one leather cover pattern anyway.

My JLUR has leather and the Cold weather package........when I ordered my JTM i did not get those options to save money for more fun stuff like some wheels and my initial AEV lift

Funny enough my wife said the first time she got in the JTM, why did you get better seats then me and yours are cloth LOL

And aftermarket seat upgrades would probably cost you less than the upgrade in trim.

Well there are plenty of wrecked JTMs out there.......should be a rather simple PNP swap

Good idea. My delicate sensibilities would have trouble with the Mohave embroidery. Maybe an upholstery shop could just improve the bolsters under the rubicon or overland leather covers.

Because there's no such thing? That's a contradiction in terms - "inexpensive" and "quick disconnecting links" in the same sentence is like "drag strip" and "Jeep 3.6 for the win" in the same sentence.

Very true, having ridden in @darksidedesign ’s Mojave, those bolsters are great.
Oddly, I didn't find the 2024 Mojave seats to be any more comfortable than my Overland seats - but they were far better to adjust - easy and more adjustment to them.
