mine came with the oem hard tri-fold. i like the security of it not being accessible with the tailgate locked. yes, i know it can be opened quickly with a pry bar but not as easy as a canvas cover with a jack knife. and yes locks are only for honest people.

quite expensive.
thanks
It is expensive, I'll give you that, but I've had roll ups, try fold, soft top, etc. This is the nicest one I've found. For me it checks all the boxes...

Hard top
Lockable
Lays flush with the bed
Allows for cross bars and or racks to be installed
Stays dry inside
Doesn't obscure the rear window when opened
Bonus, it can be fully open, 1/3 opened, 2/3 opened

Over all I am pleased with my Rough Country. Almost 100% leak free. I would like to modify the mount on the head piece as it doesn’t sit level.

I also have the rough country. It’s been great but if I had to do it all again I’d probably end up going with a smart cap instead as once you put a tonneau on it, quite a few things don’t fit under it, like a cooler which drives me crazy. The rough country keeps things dry, isn’t glossy so matches the roof if not painted. It was a b!tch to install if you have the trail rail. Taking out the forward rail against the cab sucks! Also, the rough country is NOT covered in vinyl so it won’t separate. Overall, it’s a good product but again fitting things under it that should be covered is limiting.

I had a retractable cover on my F150, great cover but I replaced it because the box on the inside got in the way when doing truck stuff. I'd definitely put one on a Gladiator though.

Ok all, thanks for our advice. After reading the notes here and going to the local shop to see how they all worked, I decided a traditional trip fold that flip ups is not what I want, thanks for everyone pointing out blocking rear window. I also looked at retractable but they take up more space than I wanted to give up. I ended up buying the same cover I had on my ram. It is a Lomax trip fold that can be completely removed in a couple of minutes.

Thanks again.

I agree with diamondback. Great warranty and better customer service. This is my second diamondback cover on two different trucks.
