Just got new Inner fenders from Paramount Automotive. Was told that it will 100% fit my 23 JTR. But NO IT WILL NOT.

Trying to install my aftermarket inner fender (Passenger side), but there are two bolts the frame that interfere with the liner. The liner needs to be cut to fit or the bolt on the right need to be removed.

So pissed.

Just throwing out ideas here. There is a divot in the end, and maybe this is a torx but it’s tough to tell from the photos. The other option is if you are removing, vice grips are possible but will destroy the threads. Lastly, cut them off with a dremel.

it looks like they are electrical grounds, so not a huge loss if destroyed but you need to find new grounding points for whatever the wires run to. If you can get them to twist out, a hex-Head or pan head bolt in the same hole would be an easy way and wouldn’t protrude as much

Make a hole in the liner. I wouldn’t chance moving the factory grounds for anything. Problems if you move it and don’t get good ground, especially if it is under warranty

I second that! Make it fit without modifying or return the liners.

Is you Rubi gas or diesel? Might make a difference on fit.

True. I hate their inner fender. They knew it but they do not care about it.

So it's an inner fender designed for the JL but they told you it would fit your jt? I don't know if the front part of the jt frame is the same as the wranglers but I kind of doubt it. Sounds like they just went off of a hunch to sell more product.

The JL's and JT's are identical from the front seat forwards.
Been discussed multiple times. Parts numbers cross over and parts cross over.

Are you sure? This is from an article on quadratec: "First off, like we said earlier, Jeep’s engineers and designers didn’t just take a JL Wrangler Unlimited and slice off the area behind the rear seats when creating the Gladiator. Instead, they engineered an all-new, lightweight, high-strength steel ladder frame for the Gladiator designed to effectively support the vehicle’s overall 219-inch length and 4,650 pounds. That’s about 31 additional inches of length and up to 400-ish pounds heavier than the JL Wrangler Unlimited."

Another article from motorbiscuit:
"The first major difference between the Gladiator and Wrangler is the frame and towing capacity. The Gladiator is built on a completely new frame instead of sharing the base frame with the Wrangler. That’s not the only big difference though, because the rear suspension was borrowed from Dodge to help support the truck bed, it also has a smoother ride."

Yeah, they cut it off behind the front seats and reworked it.

I double checked many times with them and they said it will fit. Today I saw a comment a guy is complaining the same issue and a guy said it was also confirmed by Paramount. So they knew it. But the guy mentioned 22+ Model do not fit. I wonder does that mean start from 22, there's some difference?
