I’m going to be installing a 6.5 inch component set it the sound bar since I’ve blown one of the OEM speakers. I’m wanting to do something up front as well and am trying to decide whether to do a whole component set or just replacing the dash speakers with something like the Terra Acoustics or CDT Unity. Are the lower speakers worth changing out considering the difficulty?

I think it's worth the effort. I've done the lower dash speaker swap 3 times and I think I can do it with my eyes closed.

So I have swapped the upper dash speakers (Terra Acoustics -- very nice) and DS18 Sound Bar which is loud.

However the lower dash speaker sound, the ones on the lower part of the dash toward the floor, the sound from them is neglible -- Have the Alpine system and they don't put out anything -- in fact unless I put my head near them, I wouldn't say they are working.... Not sure why this is?

My son's JL stock system is way louder (except for the DS18 I have), and his premium is really premium and I feel like in the JT the premium should have been called barely adequate...

So any good options for those speakers?

I put a pair of Infinity's ($54) in the dash and Alpine's in the roll bar with an amp.
I didn't replace the lower dash speakers.
Replacing the dash speakers made a big difference.

I have the alpine system, replaced the top dash speakers with the terra acoustic set and it woke up the whole system.
Now if I can just figure out why the plastic trim on the sound bar vibrates so much
