Just installed MP concepts aluminum bumper!

Overall very happy with it. Install was straightforward, no issues it all lined up. I ditched the included winch plate for the Grimm Off-road Winch plate. It allowed the winch plate and winch to be installed without the bumper. Makes install and future winch service 1000% easier.

I also ditched the included tow hooks. They are no where near as strong as the OEM ones. The bolts in the included tow hooks are A2-70 stainless. Where as the OEM tow hook has 10.9/grade 8. That's a huge difference in strength. Thousands of pounds different.

The sport S Halogen fog lights swapped over no issue.

All allan head bolts are also A2-70 stainless and shouldn't rust easily.

Overall weight gain in the front is around 70-80lbs. Front suspension dropped about 1/3" of an inch.

Used my old Warn XD9000i winch with a new TRE rope and agency 6 fairlead and shackle.

I’ve had mine on since around Christmas and did use their skid plate and winch plate. With the Mojave there were a few minor adjustments but I’m also very happy with this bumper.

Looks great. I wish I would have done that. I installed a steel bumper that looks cool but immediately lost two miles per gallon. The bumper is just two big.

If his Mojave had the "plastic bumper" and if he would have used the stock Mojave skid plate, then he'd have some clearance between that skid plate, which has 4 mount points vs. the one that goes with the steel bumper, which has 2 mount points plus the bumper's lower lip.

But since he used the supplied skid plate, I'm not sure why there'd be any modifications or fitment issues at all.

The mopar steel bumper and the other aftermarket versions only fit Mojave and its stock skid plate with modification. You can trim a little of the bumper itself or there are some other methods but trimming seems to be the easiest. Check this thread out. With the MP being aluminum, the trimming should be even easier in theory.

I think it’s the external shock reservoir mount.
For the winch plate the winch plate brackets don’t fit inside the frame space as is but used a smaller bolt on one hole to fit through the mismatch. On the skid plate the reservoir mounts are on the holes that the skid brackets bolt to but the holes in the skid line up with the holes in the frame so you just leave out the skid mounting brackets.

Looks to me like the Rubicon type skid plate that bolts to frame brackets and the bottom edge of the bumper works just fine on Mojave - the skid plate brackets bolt to the inside of the frame.

I went with Mopar's steel off road bumper, winch plate and steel skid plate.
Wholly %%#@ did all that add some weight. Also replaced the rear plastic bumper with a steel Rubicon bumper.
I had to put a 1 inch Teraflex spacer in the front to raise it up.

I know, I spent many weeks putting dumbbells on the front bumper debating on the MP concepts, Mopar steel, or another aftermarket steel bumper. I don't plan on lifting it so the MP concepts aluminum allowed me to get my winch on without noticable droop.

I am a little confused. Does this bumper bolt up the the Mojave and Mojave Skid plate without modification?
