It is time and after looking at scratches and chips on my fenders that are color matched. Need to do something. I tried the spray paint touch up does not look bad but I still notice. Line-X premium in black will cost me around $700 for all 4 and that is removing them and installing as well. However l I was thinking grey rather than black for my Hydro Blue Jeppy Gladdy. Thoughts? Good idea or bad?

Since you asked, I will give my two cents. Not a fan of external body panel bed liner treatments, even colored ones. They look great when they are freshly sprayed and looking mint, but the tend to not age well and even with UV protection, will eventually fade with color match even looking worse.

Unless it will lead to corrosion of a metal panel, I am in the camp of leaving most nicks and scratches alone. This platform and the Wrangler are one of the few vehicles that I think normal body finish wear is acceptable and almost expected.

the only line-x that holds up to constant uv is the jet black premium one. all the rest of them fade or get chalky over time. if they will give you a warranty against that I guess fine but most times it'll be "within spec"

Mopar makes a little touch up paint kit. I got one when I bought mine last year. I haven’t tried it yet but it might be worth checking out.

I went to the dealership today and was told that they no longer sell touch up paint. And Snazberry isn’t something that you can find at auto parts stores. Thanks Jeep.

I usually order some paint markers off amazon. Usually a close match. Usually comes in kit of primer, paint and clear coat markers. Easy to find for the blue anyways not sure about other colors.
