Well this is probably my last post on the forum. I built a Gladiator Rubicon two years ago just to my specifications from the dealership and I’ve had nothing but problems with the Jeep. In two years time frame I’ve had two door seals that needed replaced (water leaking), numerous corrosion issues on hood/tailgate/hinges/doors, and now the latest issue an oil leak by the intake manifold. Don’t get me wrong I love Jeeps but it’s ridiculous that I’ve had so many issues with the Jeep only being two years old and only 27K miles. It’s time to move on and try another OEM. Hopefully Jeep gets their act together because they just lost a customer due to their poor quality.

Why don’t you rent a bronco and determine what’s better … I randomly got a bronco as a rental is it’s worse at everything versus a jeep JL/JT. There is nothing it does better. Don’t be fooled by IFS handles the road better. The bronco was rattle city. The only rattle in my gladiator was the sunvisor rubbing on the rubber bumper, first time cleaned with interior dressing and it hasn’t made a peep since.

now, my rental ford expedition limited that was loaded with everything was very very nice.

You had a couple issues - not all apples on the ground are good for making apple pie.
There will be issues with almost anything new anymore .NO QUALITY CONTROL
I had to laugh at your minor issues .I have owned jeeps for 40 years and sometimes you get that one faulty one..
My 2020 - both batteries ,radio, inner fender, valve cover gaskets, brakes ,drums ,rotors, calipers, driveshaft ,rear axle. ,lock switch, steering box, paint on hood, door, rear window leak ,lifters took out the cam at 61,000 miles think that was it .All covered under warranty.
Yes its frustrating but it was all covered under warranty.
I traded the 2020 in for a 2024

Sorry to hear you've had a bunch of issues with your Jeep. I switched over from a 23 Badlands fully loaded. I loved the Bronco and had no issues with it. I just wanted something with bed that I could take off-road so I got the Gladiator or I would still have the Bronco. If you going to build it to wheel take a look at BroncBuster they make some of the best parts for them. Here some pics of my Bronco and then me wheeling with the BroncBuster Bronco out at Wolf Caves.

I have a gladiator, bronco, and 2 wranglers. The Bronco is my least favorite. I would definitely try to rent one before you make the switch. The Jeep interior is so much nicer. I agree also that the IFS is no better on the road. My Mojave is the best on road driving experience of them all. We never choose to take the Bronco on a trip

Thanks everyone for their comments. I test drove a Bronco Wildtrack and I thought the ride on road was much smoother. Have yet to test one off road though.

I think it must depend on which model you have. I have a Gladiator Rubicon, Wrangler 392 and I had a Bronco Badlands and the Bronco's interior is by far better. It was more comfortable. I picked it up 1200 miles away and drove it non stop back home. I love my jeeps but I can't say that I can drive either one of my Jeeps non-stop for 1200 miles and be comfortable. Not to mention this is just a personal preference the I think the 12inch screen on the Sync 4 is way better then the UConnect system. I hardly had any issues with the Sync 4 but I have tons of the issues with the uconnect from the sound going from normal to super quiet to loud, randomly shutting off and wont turn back on until you turn the car off, it doesn't even have wireless carplay or wireless android auto. There is way more leg room in the back then the jeeps. Idk, I have hard time believing the interior of the Jeep is nicer than the Broncos unless you had a lower end one as mine was very nice. I love both of my Jeeps but the Broncos are nice and I even tried to get my wife to get one but she wanted a Jeep so that's what she got.

If you purchase new it includes a free entry to Bronco Off-Rodeo for one person.

Sounds like a warranty issue. No problems here with my uconnect. Used my Gladiator as the road trip vehicle until the Bronco Sport was recently purchased to take over for the long miles.

The sound issue only happens in the Gladiator and it has happened in both of mine and it seems to be a common issue. There a lot of threads on it. The screen shutting off happens on the Wrangler 392 and it is going in on Monday to have the dealer look at it. It happens randomly so who knows what they will say or if they can recreate it. I love both of them and I really liked the Bronco. I don't think you can go wrong with either one really. It's just more about personal preference and what makes you happy at the end of the day.

So you got money you want to burn,,, OK. Variety is the spice of life and the grass is always greener on the other side. You want something that is different because of your issues with the Jeep. Good luck. It's out of the frying pan and into the fire.
