Hopping one of you good Gents can point me in right direction.
While changing Aux battery negative terminal touched positive for a split second. after, I got that dreaded " Stop safely..." message, and surly enough soon car died while driving. With Aux battery out, car has zero power. I tried the aux bypass ( by disconnecting aux battery, and removing F42 fuse)- no effect. . Main battery has juice (78%). I swapped aux and was able to make it home. But it feels that vehicle is running purely on aux battery. Is there a main battery fuse or something i might have burned, or any other thoughts?

You may want to test out the fuse array. If you touched a negative and a positive cable together with a battery still connected,I bet bad things happened in that split second.

I think that makes lot sense. Just check continuity with Multimeter should do, right?

You may have blown the N3 fuse. You can move the cable from the N3 terminal to the N4 terminal as a work around.

You can remove the main + terminal off of the main and if it still shows 12vdc on that terminal, your f3 is good. If you do not see 12vdc, n3 is blown and time for a new fuse array.

That was a HUGE help. I checked the fuse and N3 was blown. Switched to N4 ( had to cut some plastic off to make the connector "teeth" fit) , car seems to be working. Will be driving like that untill part arrives next week. THank you

I wonder if blowing that fuse disconnected the alternator from the system and you may experience no charging while driving? Not too familiar with modern day car electronics. And if you did have a charging problem while driving, there would be a CEL for that, right?
