So after 39 months, my auxiliary battery failed. First fix was disconnecting the negative for five minutes, that didn't work. Put the main battery on a charger and after two hours the Jeep started. While searching solutions I came up with disconnecting the ground to the aux battery and pulling #42 fuse. However I have several accessories powered off the side post on that cable, so I went with jumping the two posts at the rear of the fuse block. That worked, but I noticed after I had the negative cable disconnected, my display changed. Went back to the default pages. I also lost several apps, one that I use is the off road pages for the gauge display while off roading, and it is now gone. Any ideas as to how to get them back with out going to the dealer?

Do u have a Tazer? If so you can turn Offroad pages on and off in that menu and reselect 8.4 display type. Should bring it all back

Edit: you can also shove her in 4HI and turn on offroad plus mode. Should prompt offroad pages to boot up

The radio may just need a bit of time to correct itself after the complete power loss. People have reported it taking up to 24 hours for full radio functionality to return in such cases.

Yesterday I by passed the aux battery and this morning the Gladiator won't start, but now I am getting a message that the transmission isn't in Park and it is. I have the battery back on the charger again and I will try to manually shift it out of park. I know there is a way to do it, so YouTube search next to make sure my memory's correct.

How did you determine it was the Aux battery that failed? At 39 months, it is time to replace both batteries. There is a good chance you blew at least one fuse in the high amp array on the side of the fuse box.

Yesterday morning everything electrocal worked but it wouldn't start. After two hours on the charger it started. At first I was going to disconnect the ground for the Aux Battery and pull #42 fuse, but the side post on the ground is where my lights, winch, etc. Is mounted, so I went to plan B and jumped the two posts in the fuse box. That worked and the Jeep ran fine, shut it off while running errands afterwards and it always started right up this morning the same thing as yesterday. Now after being on the charger for 30 minutes, it won't start, but the error message about the transmission not being in park has gone away. I will check the fuses and I have a battery on order, but around here no one has good batteries in stock so I have to wait two weeks or so. I will be removing the aux battery completely at that time.

Side post for the Aux? Are you talking the main ground on the side rail next to the fender? If so, you are not understanding how the electrical works o your Jeep.

To bypass the Aux, you would remove the Aux negative from the Main negative bracket. If that is where you removed it from, you could have left the grounds for you accessories connected there. You would isolate that Aux ground cable and pull f42.

If at that point you have starting issues still, your main is the problem or you created more issues when you attempted to delete( bypass) the aux.

Okay, well the negative, black cable from the aux battery has a side post that all my powered accessories is mounted too. If I disconnect that cable, I have no place to mount the accessories cables. Don't know how to explain it any better.
90 minutes on the charger and the Jeep started and there were four error codes, all low voltage related. I am keeping the Jeep on the charger for now and I will see how it does in the morning.

Honestly at this point I would focus less on keeping the accessories connected and more about finding and solving your electrical issues. If one step in that processes necessitates you removing the accessory grounds, so be it. Seems silly to let them get in the way.

Once you have restored stability to your system, then you can look at how to reconnect the accessories. Heck, I'd even recommend just disconnecting them now anyway out of prudence!

There are three ground posts on the frame, near the fuse box, where the negative cable from the Main battery connects. This is where the negative cables for your accessories should be attached.

Deleted the Aux Battery and replaced the main battery. Everything seems to be working Gunner now. Here are two photos and one shows the accessories post on the negative side that folks were questioning me about.
