Question for any and all Autolynx owners.
Have you had to take off a lower bolt to get the Autolynx to relock?

Reason I ask is I disconnected on Friday on a trail. I couldn't get them to relock by just driving down the road like they say you can. I had to physically take a lower bolt out pull the swaybar down. Lock the opposite side and then reinstall the other one. Could I have them not adjusted correctly? Anyone with the same set up.... pictures please!
Notes:
I have an EcoDiesel on a 2.5 Clayton Overland lift.

No diesel , no lift but my unlifted Mojave I turn the knobs and push down on one side until it locks not hard or far, other side locks as driving. What size Apex do you have the 8.5”? Reach out to Apex perhaps..Jack

AEV 2” Mojave spacer lift.
Apex Autolynx 8” version.

I can slide my sway bar up or down to lock them into place.

Never even thought of just trying to move the swaybar.

Did you match the length of links from your lift kit? My unlifted Mojave is at the short setting on the 8” which was just a bit longer then factory. The ten inch stroke ones should fit if you get them to the right length. Here’s a picture of my stock Mojave with Apex , same model as Kevin’s just adjusted shorter….Jack

So for those who have these.... do you love them? Or are they an Ok solution. Do they make any noise or rattles? Have you had them fail?

I see it as a great product as long as it is robust, flawless, and quiet. Other wise- what I have works even if it is a pain to pull the pins. But they are quiet- I forget they are there... they offer great articulation... they just are a pain in the rear in some conditions the get pins back in (mud/ Ice/ snow) These look great- but they are a lot of cash too- if they break down all the time...

So what do you think? Worth it still after having them a while?

I beat the absolute piss out of my truck and these things are amazing. I think they are the best option. No motor to fail and I don’t have to Get on the ground to reconnect manual disconnects.

Even my wife noticed a difference the other day. Makes it so much smoother. Plus they are definitely quiet! I just needed a little coaching on easiest way to get them to lock back in. I'll check that out tomorrow. Or maybe tonight after work.

Love them, quiet ,give great articulation on stock Mojave. First time you disconnect and then reconnect you will realize how nice they are, throw the knob and then I put a knee on passenger side of bumper and push down to lock that side other side locks when you hit first dip or go push on that side also and then you can go crawl under your buddies trucks and help them put their pins back in. I have them on for about 30-35,000 miles no problem. You should go to the website check fitment they fit much better on the wide axle trim levels. I prefer these over the Rubicon sway bar disconnect….Jack

I have the widetrack axles... and stock inner fenders and about 4 inches of lift. So the 10 would be what I would need. I might have to get a set of these. I looked at buying a rubicon one, putting the mannual knob on it... and even used it is way more than these.

One of the best mods for family offroading comfort. Happy family = happy vacation.

I wedge my arm under the fender to press down on the disconnect collar where the height adjusts. I should try leaning on the bumper instead, as mentioned above.

(Reminder to consider sealing the snap rings from the elements.)

This pic was my first test with the Autolynx. I couldn't get up the boulder I tested on before the Autolynx because my right tire was off the ground and couldn't get enough traction to climb up. With the increased articulation I was able to climb right up no problem.

The big test was Holcomb Creek and John Bull BOH trails in Big Bear. The Autolynx are solid construction and had no problems in those extreme conditions.
One caution they give in the instructions is "Do Not unlock the Autolynx while in an unlevel surface". I assume that's because if you were in a big articulation position and unlocked them they would slam on the full extension and could break something. My assumption.

I have the Apex on my Mojave. (2 inch AEV lift, stock wheels w/ 37 ko2's, Motobilt inner fenders) They work phenominally well , no interferecnce or rubbing anywhere. HOWEVER mine are corroding rusting/pitting already and they are less than 6 months old ( I have never driven on icey salty roads).
