Reading the majority of the thread makes me feel bad for OP…

I know I don’t have time or money to deal with something like this at the moment.

Realistically speaking to be back on the road, I’d pull it out of the dealership and either get it in your own bay or in a good independent. A transfer case can be had for a relatively good price, Rubitrux has take off units under $2,000 all the time. A good shop might charge 8 hours of labor... or with buddies, tools and beer, maybe a weekend. You might be out four racks or $2000 and up some experience, but you’ll be back on the road.

It’s threads like this that make me question my sanity in modifying a $60,000 truck I can’t really afford. Maybe I get a nice full size daily driver and a crap box XJ I can fix with WD40 and a hawk tua.
To be fair “Hawk Tuah” can fix almost any problem.

So, update is that I purchased an Ultra + Diamond $100K warranty upgrade at the time of purchase. The warranty also stated that the Jeep was lifted and modified to include additional coverage including TCase. Only stipulation was that modifications had to be street legal in the state you reside. Stellantis is the one pushing back, not only on the standard 36,000 mile warranty claim, but also my extended warranty which specifically calls out purchased lifted/modified.

The Regional GM and Dealership GM are now battling on my behalf. They believe me and agree that the work done to my Jeep is above and beyond board...in fact several compliments on their work. The issue is with Stellantis and their refusal. More to come!

If it dont work out for ya there is always this..

Again, all this talk of lawyers and congress is BS.

You HAVE TO ESCALATE.

Anyone lower than a Level 2 CSR, and anything less than a STAR case, will not get you anywhere.

I have been fighting with FCA and dealer over my Ram 3500. i have not had my truck for 6 months and they still cant fix it. I can tell you it has been a epic fight. stand your ground and document everything. Dealership is the first gate for warranty work and they are denying it before it even goes to FCA.

File a complaint to the Attorney General in your state. They love car dealerships, Explain how they are not following the law of Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

When i did this the dealership talked to me a lot different. Mine is a bit different due to an issues they have not been able to diagnose but its a step in the right direction. Link below is a thread i started showing the steps to file a complaint.

Lemon law will not work on this as they have to make attempts to repair the vehicle

I feel for the OP but the more we mod the more we own. I did 4.88s so I am going to guess all the diffs and drivetrain are out of warranty as 4.88 require higher RPMs. Along with all the suspension I replaced. I added a sector shaft brace that voids the steering gear box. I just hope the Tazer hasn't voided all the electronics warranty. Method wheels have probably voided the bearings and ball joints. I have a pretty good relationship with the service department so I might have a chance after several pizzas and Pepsi has been delivered. I do my own oil so there goes the cams and lifters. Just like back in the 70s, 12 months and 12K miles and done.

when I was in the auto business, If you changed or modified something and had a problem with it , you owned it. Things could have changed, I don't know .I retired in 2011. But I don't think they did. You modify a stock car or truck and it goe's bad , it's on you. I never did chit to my trucks till they were out of warranty. Only mods done at a dealership by the manufacturer and approved by them are OK.

I'm really more repeating this for the people reading along lol.

I was JT platform launch engineer, reviewing warranty claims was part of my job. Denying everything not gross and obvious was the standard practice. There's multiple avenues of escalation after that, but most people will just go, mfer's.... and walk away.

Mine has outlasted all warranties with exception of Body corrosion 5 yr. Unlimited ( which I'm still good there it isn't 5 yrs. Old yet.) I never had any luck with warranties anyway. This one I was misled as to how long my warranty covered . I was told 75k and it was only 60k. So it was after that I got on here and started learning . I done decided it's all about me rolling up my sleeves and getting into the repairs when the time comes. Period Dot ,
They dont actually tear anything down and repair. Like say bad clutch in a transmission. They just jerk it out and replace . We'll heck I can do that too. So pardon me but Screw Fiat.

Interesting stuff here.... I think I would agree with the route of "bad press" as I have found this to be highly effective.

I had an issue with an airline once and after about 30 different review across many ratings/reviews site actually wound up with a call from the airlines CEO... Going the route of angry mob can also work.

However also I read that your service manager and stuff are "supposedly" on your side. I find that strange as from that perspective I have noticed in the past FCA doesn't seem to review much that their dealerships say is wrong and just goes with the service dept recommendation. It may be possible the service dept is also blowing smoke up your rear when saying they are trying to support you with FCA.

I would independently open a case up with FCA just in case the dealership is not being completely honest.
