Friend sold his Gladiator, gave me his old Tazer. Got it all updated, installed, and got some things like tire size corrected…. Wow, JT now drives like a new Jeep again! I’ve debated getting one of these or the Jscan since I first bought my JT… someone should have really shown me the night and day difference!

I've been very happy with my Jscan options. Make sure to measure your actual, not advertised, wheel diameter to enter in the software.
Changing tire size definitely makes a difference. Accurate mph and transmission learns the new data and adjust shift points accordingly, from my experience.

Unless you want the live features, Tazer is too expensive. Jscan is a better choice for basic changes like tire size and LED lights.
Mine was the grand total of free... so very much worth the price!

Changing the tire size made a difference?
I cannot express how big of a difference the tire size made on the shifting! Before the change, I could feel when it would shift down to the next lower gear... not a jarring or rough shift by any means, but noticeable. Now you'd swear the Jeep has a CVT, I really only notice a shift when the gear number changes and the RPM changes.

Tazer is also a vehicle Anti Theft and Anti Carjack device. That alone can make it worth the cost.

That's good to know. I went from stock tires on my Mojave to 35x11.5x17's and have noticed shifting is not as smooth.

Swaybar kill at any speed is worth the Taser over JSCAN imo.
If you have a Rubicon the tazer is mandatory even at stock height. Swaykill plus lockers at any speed, rear locker in 2wd, front locker only control alone is worth the cost and should be how the jeep comes stock.

I've found the way to button map sway kill, but do you know if there is a way to permanently set it so that the OEM swaybar button is active up to a higher speed, like 45 mph?

No, swaykill is the only way.
